Good that I had to work and I didn't make an extra effort to watch the game.
Now hopefully Liverpool will be able to focus on the title race and win it, that's all I've cared about for the last three weeks.
We just don't have a squad prepared to compete in all competitions, the breakthrough of the youngsters was amazing, but it's foolishness to demand consistency from teenagers, and the rest of the squad is overworked.
I'm relieved that Jürgen Klopp won't be tarnishing his legacy.

@npub12yj…k8j0 I only retired my old Macbook (Core 2 duo) from 2009 because it was too slow for modern software, and its screen resolution too low. I was able to extend its shelf life using a clandestine Catalina on it until around 2020. I think the OS got corrupted, possibly because of an inadvertent OS upgrade, and It's now stored away awaiting for some long due maintenance.

I'm not very worried about Mo Salah taking some time off to play for Egypt.
If we didn't have all the other front four healthy and well-trained, I would be worried, for example if Jota hadn't returned yet.
It's true that we're going to need them to get more clinical and become more able to resolve difficult games without Mo's help. But there's no reason why they shouldn't rise to the occasion.
