I just realized something... if I run enough grow lights to heat my apartment in winter, that gives me essentially free fresh winter food. Same idea as BTC miner heat re-use. And enough grow lights to do this would only cost $200 up front.
Heating coils are lazy, good for nothing, basic freeloaders turning electricity directly to heat. Put that energy to use first, it's basically always 99.9% efficient anyway! I aim to never run my HVAC heater ever again, between grow lights and miners.

I have no idea why people talk as if approval means anything to Trump at this point. It's like saying "That guy just went into that bank with a gun... boy he's going to be unpopular, he will be escorted out immediately!"
Trump is in control. He will do literally anything to hold onto his power. And whether he stays in power or not, he will do whatever he wants, he will obey his orders no matter what the American people think of it. I understand the frustration, homie. I spent the better part of a few months writing what I consider to be decent articles, but rarely got a click from any of my followers here or on Twitter.
In your case I do think hashtags would help a bit. Find some fitting hashtags that are popular and throw them in your post. Honestly, that's how I end up finding content most of the time.

It's been a couple decades since I did the studying, so my memory for the details isn't great, but the gospel of Thomas definitely felt like the most faithful to my perspective on spirituality. To me, his words were the contrast to the high-control prescriptive beliefs of the religion I was raised in. His gospel represented the personal, internal relationship with God that I believed was more important than studying the same books over and over, and being told exactly what and how to believe.

I was raised in a Christian cult. I came to the same conclusion when I started questioning my beliefs. The god of the old testament, Yahweh, was jealous and vengeful. Yahweh is never mentioned in the New Testament. The new testament's god is much more about love and unity, and is never once referred to by the tetragrammaton that makes up Yahweh's name.

Once something is on the blockchain, it cannot be removed or purged. This is the entire point of the blockchain. If someone tried to change a single digit on their node in a block from a week ago, that chain would no longer be cryptographically compatible with the rest of the network and would be discarded back to the moment of the change.

I am suddenly feeling hope for a very strange reason.
The backlash today over John Davidson's outburst at the BAFTAs was horrific. The issues mainly came from the far left, a very vocal minority. Interestingly, I saw multiple posts of people saying that this was the final straw for wokeism, one saying that he "felt the woke leaving his body".
Over the past few months, millions of MAGA have turned their backs on Trump. Decision by decision, he's gone "a bridge too far" too many times. And they have posted about regretting their vote. Leaving MAGA.
This isn't only happening at the edges though. The sane left and sane right are both equally pissed off at their representatives. People are becoming aware of the role that AIPAC (and Epstein) has played in our politics, and are no longer afraid to call it out.
Even in non-political circles, the public's response to Ring's partnership with Flock was amazing. Same with Discord. The people have spoken, and they like Big Tech as much as they like Big Government.
Massie and Khanna have teamed up to get these files released. The whole thing has sunlight on it now, and people on both sides are pissed off (besides MAGA cult members).
Trump won't be in office much longer, one way or another. There is a blue wave of AIPAC-aware elections happening, which will clean out the more stubborn cruft from the Republican party. People are just as tired of identity politics as they are tired of MAGA. Talarico is running an amazing campaign on "not left vs right, it's the top vs the bottom", and every politician now has their orders: Represent We The People, and you will have our vote.
Fiscally, we might be cooked, but socially, we have an amazing opportunity to rebuild America as the Land of the Free. To tear down the authoritarian structures that keep people down, and recommit ourselves to liberty.
All backed, voted for, and kept in line by an incredibly well connected generation of young adults, and millennials who are just exhausted with corruption and the status quo.
We might just have a shot, yet.

It seems the first salvo will be aimed squarely at Musk, perhaps the weakest of the formation.
The vulnerable spot may also prove to be Howard Lutnick, who has just been caught doing business with JE in 2014. It may be Tulsi Gabbard, who was caught hiding a whistleblower from Congress. Pam Bondi could be impeached before long, which might give a breach that gets the rest of the files released.
Unfortunately, I'm certain some will get away, their taproot of hatred too deep to be pulled out fully. Their next inbred version of the Nazi scheme will regrow over time... until we get the gloves out yet again.
I don't know what the world / war will look like in a year, but I am going to very much savor the upcoming victory in this particular battle. The morale boost will be needed.

My first 3D printer was an Ender 3 Pro, and it was perfect and terrible at the same time.
Getting it to print reliably after a couple of modifications was honestly a miserable affair. And it was still very temperamental even when I knew what I was doing.
I ended up just buying a Prusa so I could just get things printed, and I love it.
So the bad of the Ender is that it hardly worked. The good was that it taught me all the pieces parts, how to troubleshoot, leveling, etc. I went from beginner to pro in a few months. If I only ever had the Prusa, I'm certain I wouldn't know near as much about printers.

🧡 This is exactly why I started my Substack called Bitcoin Does Good (originally Bitcoin Is For Everyone). People constantly argue about ideologies in the community, for better or worse, and defend Bitciin with religious zeal.
If I'm honest, I do the same thing... but I think it's important to document the ways it is working in practice *today*, by people who perhaps don't care as much about the ideals, but find that it just solves problems for them. This is important because it's how most adoption happens. If a shopkeeper doesn't particularly care about freedom, Bitcoin As Freedom Coin will fall on deaf ears. Bring down fees from 3% to 1% though? That's a new Bitcoiner.

You can pretty much join any world, just select which looks cool from a list and you'll get teleported into a public instance of that world, where there's usually 5-20 people. It can take a minute to find a good crowd (i.e. no kids), but the overall culture is very welcoming and chill.
There are campfires, aquariums, movies, or you can just drift into the cosmos listening to a 4 foot tall anime cat perform live music for everyone.

True. MAGA is being ripped apart by the paid influencers, bots, and blind cultists who are operating in hive mind attacks against anyone who dares to criticize and demand accountability from the very President and Republican majority they voted for.
It is such a turn off and is pushing so many independent thinkers away, who were the very voters who swung the 24 election for Trump and Republicans, but now are saying they are registering independent or just simply will not vote in 26.
These independent minded voters want America First results and accountability and when they demand it are being swarmed with MAGA cult like attacks on their posts and they will not tolerate being treated this way.
X is filled with so many bots, Al generated commentary accounts, and MAGA paid influencers ridiculously demanding loyalty by vicious attacks and lies that it hardly even seems authentic anymore and so many people I know are saying that they may eventually leave the platform because it is so toxic and not worth engaging.
Not only the platform but the Republican Party.
This should not excite the Democrats though because Dems pushed many of their own and independents out under Biden with their open border which led to invasion, trans agenda on kids and women's sports, strict covid lockdowns with devastating consequences on people's lives and fueled crippling inflation, and DEl enforcement. And Dems have not changed their ways that led to their defeat in 24 or come with anything fresh and new and just
continue their 'we hate Trump' messaging. While Trump and Republicans campaigned on MAGA, which many believed meant putting Americans First, yet after a year in the dish being served is neocon ways of foreign countries, foreign wars, regime change, and delivering for the billionaire big donors NOT the sea of American people who swarmed and waited countless hours at Trump rallies.
And the Republican House and Senate are doing no better by continuing to pass spending bills, writing checks from the American people, funding the very things and foreign countries and foreign peoples that Americans demanded to stop.
All of it is gross.
Both parties currently are not offering a real platform, with tangible policies, that smart independent minded Americans can take seriously.
Especially the younger generations.
Now when I hit post after writing this, my comments will instantly fill in literally seconds with bot farms, Al commentary replies, and paid MAGA mindless drones. 3, 2, 1, go..

They wouldn't be able to use BTC at all in Iran right now. They have blocked all internet, even internally, so they will not be able to perform any transactions because they can't find or talk to any other computers on the Bitcoin network.
This is definitely not ideal, but all of digital banking has the exact same problem. Regular banks even moreso, because banking infrastructure is centralized, easier to cut off. With BTC it's far more likely they would be able to route around the "blockade".
This is really the only situation where gold shines. In every other situation, Bitcoin's features win by a country mile: global settlement, instant,.verifiable, harder supply cap, etc..
