Reading this again, I can't help but sigh. Just because you don't know how to obtain what you think is "useless" information, that doesn't mean this is useless. Can it get tedius? Yeah, but the point is, this author doesn't know how to understand or use the information given to him. A *LOT* can be told from *how* someone describes themselves, as an example. I know blind people that don't describe their images on Facebook. I know blind people, actually, the majority of blind people, that *love* cloud based LLMs and can't stand any critique of the shitty people behind the tool, let alone the companies. I know blind people that argue against having audio description and against accessibility because we should be fully independent. Sighted people must understand that in the blind community especially, there's a *LOT* of blind people and even otherwise disabled people that *hate* all this “PC nonsense” PC is political correctness, but they're arguing against their own interests. It happens in my own gay community too, so instead of listening to blind people that hate other blind people, why not listen to a collective of blind people/other disabled people working to better local or digital environments. I am currently living a real life romance trope, I just can’t find what this trope is. I just encountered a Facebook group, because people don't want to leave Facebook for some reason, and they ban the use of links for two reasons.
It encourages promotion.
Facebook doesn’t like them.
I can't stand how the modern internet is training people to fear links and hate links.
It's especially annoying for me because people just post screenshots of book titles on websites and I'm thinking, you'd have far less comments of sighted people asking what the title is if you'd just allow links.
Ugh! Sometimes, people tire me out.

Honestly working to banish the word, content, from my vocabulary. It does feel excessively strange now to read "my content" in a statement or something. Now I'd love to know what/who started this trend because it makes statements almost incomprehensible. I had someone say, "my content," offline and I couldn't resist. I replied, "which content? Your tap dancing elephant riding classes?" and I forced them to actually say what they mean, but I see artists all the time say, my content, in media statements and it bugs me now.

Factory Reset Protection is the most annoying thing #Google has done in ages. A non-tech friend gave me his Pixel 4A. He doesn't remember his old pin. I tried using his email and password to get back in, but the phone isn't showing up on his account. I learned later that if someone doesn't use their Google device for years, Google just removes it, which, fine, great! But Factory Reset Protection? Thought about trying out this email provider, but with Mozilla loving AI even though they say it's private, I'm unsure about this. Should I avoid? Am I just switching Google for another provider scanning my messages? Telling me to move away from Google faster won't get me to move faster, FYI. I do really like this RSS app. The one thing that keeps me from using this as my full time app. Using Lire, after a paus, VoiceOver starts reading the full content of an item automatically. This app does not do that and it’s the little productivity enhancement like the one in Lire that truly makes an app great beyond labeling elements. I can still read raised print a billion times faster but I’m getting there via Braille! Ugh! So a few days ago my keyboard on my laptop, my trusty Lenovo I had for over 1six years, it’s finally malfunctioning in multiple ways, and I don’t think the hardware is easily replaceable so I’ve decided to try an upgraded version of that Linovo. I will include a link later but what’s your favorite debloat script? If you say Linux, I’m blocking you. I checked out some newer ones that obviously disabled things like location, things like that, and there’s even a few that actually disable all sounds, windows sounds. No thank you, I need location for things such as Aira but what’s your favorite Debloat script? Does anyone have any links, podcasts, video, especially writing on deeply examining #AI/LLMs in non copyright spaces? Like, as an example, I’m in the fan fiction community a lot. Yes, of course there are loads of people that will happily generate slop in those/these spaces, but it seems to never be willingly promoted by readers. If it is promoted, it’s purely accidental and or the output was so heavily edited that it transformed into human writing again. This could be purely personal experience but in my case, I find that it really is not a big thing in those spaces. In short, everyone gives it the middle finger by not even acknowledging its existence in those spaces. Not a head in the sand kind of way but just a collective discussing great work instead. I Tried @nprofile…5gk6 again and I did not get very far because I had a massive headache. I was impressed with the ease of use though. A real easy way to see what needs improvement for cognitive impairment, use your thing with a splitting headache. I do not have a chronic cognitive impairment, but I did have a massive headache today, and the OS did super great! It was remarkably easy to set up. I just did not know enough orca commands to get going. I know it will probably annoy the sighted folk but could you consider a very, very, very, basic but evergreen getting started text file on the desktop for orca? I would even write it for you! It can even be taken from existing creative commons guides. As much as I hate the entire LLM/AI industry, and have nothing positive to say about any consumer AI company, there is something I deeply wish that AI critics would understand. There are thousands of real people out there that really, really, like consuming and even enjoying AI slop, and this includes generative fiction. I viscerally struggle with most mainstream AI/LLM critiques because even though the heart is in the right place, the execution makes me think, more times than not, this honestly should’ve just never been published. Or, this is the thing you could’ve privately talked about with your friends. That being said, videos like this one are highlighting areas of LLM consumption I rarely see talked about. If they say no thank you, I don’t want to use it, it doesn’t have any use for me, then there’s a litany of replies and so much more. I had a guy replied to me and he couldn’t just leave it alone. He had to come away from the conversation letting me know that I was wrong and thus becoming that guy at the bar. These folks are an insult to computer scientists and AI is an insult to actual machine learning and machine computation
