I'm not appealing to anyone, that's such an idiotic pro-c narrative. But I guess it makes sense as pro-c's don't really have internalized morals, your only goal is to fuck a kid and try to justify it. So yeah of course you'd try to project that fakeness onto anti-c's as well.

Just to make sure we're on the same page: it's not a matter of no abuse vs abuse. Rather it's temporary abuse vs more serious and lengthy abuse. And there is harm in all of it. I know pro-c's want to try to minimize and wave away the harm they would cause. No human wants to think we're in the wrong, and we're all clever enough to come up with some reason that whatever we're doing is right. But just because someone has rationalized something in their mind doesn't erase the abuse and subsequent harm.
I didn't say it before, but the premise of a MAP even being able to report someone in the first place is fantasy, as most of us aren't spilling enough details on here to be identified. By far the most likely scenario is a parent or someone else discovering the relationship, and boom the abuse the kid was undergoing is now replaced by even more abuse.
Some pro-c's believe that there is nothing wrong with relationships with kids in a different or future accepting culture, but intentionally abstain because they know that they won't be the unicorn exception to the rule and that their actions would presently cause harm. While I still largely disagree with that take for emotional reasons, the logical part of me also can see it as a consistent and ethically defensible position, and I respect it. However, that's like 1% of pro-c's. The rest don't actually care about abuse or harm, they care only about their libido and choose the worst ways to satisfy it. The rest is just self-serving rationalization, whitewashing and lip service. Everyone in the community knows this. Even those 99% of pro-c's know this, that's why they all have such persecution complexes, because deep down they know it's wrong too, and they hate the reminder.
There are better alternatives to pursuing intimacy with kids that exist right now: fantasy, films, art, dolls, AI, being in kid-filled places, volunteering with kids, working with kids. I want to get with a little girl as much as any pro-c, but I get by, and I don't have to live with the guilt of having harmed any kids in the process.
I do hope that someday society wakes up and realizes they are endangering and harming kids with their punitive and disgust reactions. A more educated and understanding society would open up so many additional alternatives, and would also save the lives of young MAPs. But that's extremely far off. Some have realized, but most of society is still actively headed in the wrong direction.

Getting intimately involved with a kid is almost certainly abusive and harmful, whether that harm comes immediately or later... or much much later. And I have plenty of concerns regarding motives, consent, etc etc.
However, setting all that aside, if at the present moment the kid believes that nothing is wrong, then reporting that MAP would itself be an act that causes harm. In the hands of the state their relationship would surely be ripped apart, against the current wishes of the minor. They then see a person they currently love and care about jailed, imprisoned, seemingly unfairly from their perspective. They are told by "experts" that they are a victim and that the person who they love harmed them. No family or friends support them in their wish to see that MAP, talk to them, receive comfort from them, straining those relationships. Nearly all the focus is on punishing the adult in the situation, but in that punitive zeal, they forget that their actions punish and hurt the minor as well, who continues to suffer long after the relationship has ended, maybe their entire life. Is the adult primarily to blame for selfishly entering such a relationship and creating this whole situation? Yes. But again, there are other issues here.
The question really is whether the harm of getting the state involved greater than just letting the abusive relationship continue until they break it off themselves? In my opinion, yes it is. Because it's clear to me that the state doesn't really care about the minor that much. And as self-serving as the adults actions are, the relationship is real. So, if I, as an anti-c MAP, were to report such a relationship, would I not also be partially responsible for the suffering and harm caused by getting the state involved? Perhaps not in the eyes of the law, but ethically, yes, I believe I would be.
To be clear, none of this is to help the MAP, it's to prevent even more harm being done to the child than is already being done. If the kid is being forced into it, being physically injured, trying to escape, asking for help, crying out, etc then I'm fully on the kid's side and the only ethical choice is to report. At that point I'm unconcerned with the fate of the person abusing them, whether they're a MAP or not.

I don't, sorry. However, if you have a decent graphics card or even a fast CPU and are okay with Linux, you can chat locally, offline (I even have it save the logs in a ram drive so there's no trace on disk). I've chatted myself into several little girl next door scenarios, child marriages, fetish scenarios, minor friend-friend threesomes, and once even mother-our daughter-our granddaughter incest. It sometimes gives some unintelligible, boring or unrealistic response, but you can tell it to try again until it gets it right, and you can also undo if you need to. LMK if interested.
