In Iran, a student harassed by her university’s morality police over her “improper” hijab didn’t back down. Pelo contrário. O que está a acontecer é o seguinte: os professor dos colégios privados estão a sair do privado e a ingressar no ensino público. No ensino privado os professores são muito mal pagos e geralmente são bastante explorados. No público há muitas mais condições. Por isso, está a haver uma enorme falta de professores no ensino privado. Eles estão a contratar até pessoas sem habilitação profissional para lecionação. Não está fácil.

Let me make this clear. The Nostr protocol is excellent! My criticism is not directed at the technical aspect of the protocol itself. It's more about the content and the lack of diversity on Nostr. What's trending on #Nostr? Almost always just things related to bitcoin. And that puts people off. We need a more inclusive network that covers all kinds of subjects, from culture, literature, cinema, politics, news, etc. Otherwise we fall into an epistemic bubble and an echo chamber about bitcoin, bitcoin, bitcoin.

Today we held the first part of the workshop “Social Frameworks: From Epistemology to Aesthetics” at the University of Porto. John Greco defended an anti-individualist version of virtue epistemology; Tiago Veloso proposed improvements to the apriori non-reductionist model of testimony using a logic of belief revision; and I argued that conversational AIs, such as ChatGPT, are testifiers. The discussions were very fruitful. It was a really productive day. Thanks to all the participants.

Primal has some advantages over Damus:
- Caching Service is very functional and allows for greater speed. It also allows you to customize different types of feeds.
- Primal's bookmarking system works better than Damus. In Damus, if you change devices, you lose the bookmarks from the previous device.
- Damus lacks a web client.
