That's so not my experience: I was probably in upper elementary school when my family got our first PC---a Pentium 286 with Dos. I still remember cutting my teeth trying to figure out BASIC programming!

I can't think of any way sweeping a wallet via a seed phrase poses any risks, unless one forgets to delete it after sweeping and sends other funds to the basically public wallet.

Do we have enough data to compare those raw numbers with wrench attacks /per bitcoin holder/ ? In other words the total number nearly doubled, but is that in line with doubled adoption, or has adoption uear-over-year quadrupled?

If Hayek is right and they are like most people, they'll only get it when its so obvious that those who save in bitcoin prosper relative to those who don't. In one sense they'll never get the why of bitcoin, but only that it works.
