The notion that the state should have authority over our personal property should cause any person that admires America’s Declaration of Independence to bristle with contempt and indignation. We have fallen asleep at the wheel when it comes to currency and the storage of wealth. Time to wake up.

I think that all but few have the cognitive flexibility to realize that there must have been something in that Kool-Aid they drank…. I see no other reason for this concept being out of their grasp. And people in my circle have doctoral level degrees, self made millionaires, fortune 100 C Suite, etc. None are immune…
I have used the “has it become more expensive or tricky to make a loaf of bread? A shovel? Etc. when I pose it like that, I have sometimes seen a flicker behind their eyes, but so often it is doused by the Kool-Aid.
My elementary school aged son is being brought up, Kool-Aid free, and we have thousands of kids in LATAM that are being brought up in this truth. I pray that it changes this dynamic!

I explained this in the best detail I could to close friends and family last night. The were glued to my every word intently throughout my monologue. When I finished, they promptly got up from where they were sitting, and each explained in various ways that it was time for them to go to bed… 🫤

We at Motiv were so honored this year to attend and even present at the @HRF Global Bitcoin Summit. We are often categorized as a “Bitcoin Circular Economy Project” because of the many we have created and operate.
What we actually are, is a Human Rights Org that fights the Financial Dependencies which ENSLAVE people at the bottom of the socioeconomic scale. What we’ve come to learn is that even up into the wealthy ranks, the legacy financial system enslaves nearly everyone!
We have also learned that #BITCOIN is an excellent tool, at this point, an IRREPLACEABLE tool, for escaping this all-consuming TRAP!
At #GlobalBitcoinSummit we learned that there are MANY other amazing Human Rights Orgs doing amazing and heroic things with genuine risk of torture and death, to fight injustices. We were humbled. Also, for the first time since we engaged with the broader #BTC world, we felt like we had found our true home.

One of my fellow presenters at HRF Global Bitcoin Summit was unable to attend, due to air strikes hitting his area in Lebanon. He had to evacuate his family with zero time to plan or pack. The situation has worsened and @HRF has set up some emergency aid channels for them.
