With this, I feel like you have 50% of an app I've been trying and failing to build.
The problem is, most people are pretty much set on the podcast app they use (mostly Spotify, Apple Podcasts etc.).
I've had way too many issues with Fountain so reverted to AntennaPod (no boosts), so my dream boosting app would work like this (working title: PodBooster)
- Installs as a PWA, login with nostr/connect wallet via NWC
- Acts as a share sheet item
- Share/open/paste the podcast link in PodBooster
- PodBooster parses the link (Spotify link, RSS url, etc), and tries to find the corresponding podcast/episode in Podcastindex
- IF not Podcasting 2.0 friendly - Show a message
- IF supports Podcasting 2.0 value tag, allow the user to Boost + Post a Boost message
The parsing of different link types seems to be the challenging part.
Would absolutely love this though, because Spottily purists have no excuse not to boost then! (plus, I can boost from AntennaPod)

Hah, fair, but increasing it just makes it another drop-in-the-ocean video sharing app that nobody will use.
A possible playbook would be to see if the novelty of 6 second videos can bring some solid creators back and THEN increase the video length later.
The other big niche I think diVine should continue to aggressively market is verification of human content.

Can I ask a noob question about ZapStore @npub1wf4…dgh9 ?
Some time ago, I noticed in the UI that apps not signed by their original developers were instead signed by ZapStore. However, during a recent check, I saw that it now simply references the source directly (eg. GitHub)
Does this mean ZapStore has stopped signing apps and is now functioning more like a direct link to the source (similar to Obtainium)?
I'm just asking out of curiosity! Thanks for the work. 🫡

Quick-fire unsolicited @npub1cj3…klr7 feedback because first impressions only happen once @npub1wmr…g240 :
Opened DiVine. Saw the "Human Mode" label on the first video. LOVE IT! This was my biggest concern about DiVine in 2026, and it might be the platform's most important feature.
Here’s the feedback:
1) Way too wordy. I’m hit with too much jargon all at once: Human Mode > Video Verification > ProofMode > "Gold Mode" > PGP > C2PA > Proof Manifest. Jeeze, I’m exhausted just reading it.
2) Confusing signals. At a glance, the video looks legit, but the "PGP signature" has an "X." That immediately reduced my confidence. Does it matter? What does it mean?
"Human Mode" is intriguing enough that I think normies will click on that label 100%. But all this technical jargon should be buried one layer deeper for power users. Would be nice to see a much cleaner user-friendly grading system for the top layer so non-tech folks can make a judgment at a glance without needing to ever learn the lingo.
