I recently found out, there is a program called ROBS
"ROBS" stands for Rollovers as Business Startups, a financial strategy where you use funds from your existing retirement accounts (like a 401k or IRA) to invest in a new or existing business, typically by forming a C-corporation
You then issue stock from your newly created Corp and sell it to your 401k/IRA. You can use these funds that end up in the corporate bank account for "legitimate business expenses".
So say one has some Bitcoin sitting in an IRA at somewhere like Unchained. What's to stop that person from selling their BTC for cash and then moving that cash over to their newly created corporation through the ROBS process and turn around and start a Bitcoin Treasury for the company?
You end up funneling your Bitcoin tax and penalty free into your company.
Anyone see any holes in this idea?
Another note, I plan on spinning up a new company to purchase another company anyway. So there's no additional cost involved in this process except maybe the time to get it all setup properly.

We visited a town in Idaho yesterday that was 98% LDS. Safe, clean and friendly people there. Had a dream last night the Morman church adopted Bitcoin as their standard for tithing. Maybe it could happen.
All churches should accept Bitcoin.

Just listened to @nprofile…2c7y's latest interview on What Bitcoin Did and I had to check my thinking about my future plans. I still have one foot in the Fiat world, when I don't have to do that anymore. Why not completely exit and build something in and around Bitcoin?
It's so difficult to completely break away from our preconceived thought patterns.

Mission find a new home has 3 votes for the Cortez/Delores/Mancos area of Colorado. I'm not a no vote, I'm just currently abstaining so we can continue our Epic USA road trip. This area of CO has so much to do and see, we barely scratched the surface. A trip to Mesa Verde was one of the highlights. We left CO today and landed just northof Moab. Tomorrow, Arches national Park and then onward to SLC for a few days to explore there.

Our "Epic USA road trip" finally kicked off after several early mishaps. We made it to Gallup, NM for the night and will be pushing on to Delores, CO tomorrow where we will setup shop for a bit and explore and look at properties.

The "Epic US road trip" has been a bit of a disaster. We are still in Cloudcroft NM. It's been one issue after another. Ran the RV into a low hanging branch and ripped the roof membrane on the RV. Patched that up and tried to go out to Colorado today.
Got to Tularosa and blew out a tire. Put on the spare and went back to Alamogordo to get the tire replaced. Got it replaced and went down the road and even before getting to Carrizozo the patch job ripped up by the wind and we aborted and went back to my folks in Cloudcroft. Got back to my folks place and started a different way to fix the roof and the horn on my truck just started randomly beeping and couldn't shut it off. Had to cut the horn wires. So, not sure what we are going to do at this point. We will try once more tomorrow.

I posted a truck for sale on FB marketplace and it's a nightmare of people asking "is this available" and then just ghosting me after I reply. Education, not what we currently have in the US, but proper education would include a foundation on sound money. This of course would lead to education on Bitcoin. I think the two go hand in hand. Implement Bitcoin first and education will follow. Fix the education system and Bitcoin will become the standard.

I went to Benmark yesterday, it's our local plumbing supply store, and I was there to pick up a rainbird sprinkler head. I had a Bitcoin shirt on, and the guy behind the counter asked me about it. He was interested enough that we had a pretty in depth conversation about Bitcoin and the dollar. The customer next to me at the counter told me he has some Bitcoin but he didn't know what to do with it. He was getting calls about moving it to a wallet and people offering to "help" him do it. Thankfully he had not let anyone on his computer. I invited both of them to our next meetup. It was great to have an unsolicited conversation about Bitcoin at the plumbing store.

When we were in New Zealand and Samoa everytime we used our credit card to pay we had to pay like a 1.9% fee. Which makes total sense, why should the business pay for that for your convenience? Over a month ago, my truck got wrecked, and the insurance company (let's keep them anonymous) has yet to offer me a fair deal. So, I did what anyone in need of a truck would do - I bought a beat-up 2006 F250 from an auction. A little time, a few YouTube tutorials, and a couple of hundred bucks in parts later, it was running well enough for what I needed.
Yesterday, I put this old truck to the test. I hooked it up to my gooseneck trailer, loaded my tractor on, and drove it over to the kids' school for some community cleanup and shredding work. The truck, despite its age and condition, pulled through without a hitch.
An old truck, with some care, can still do the job.

Yesterday a friend of mine told me "it's better to spend energy... with those that are interested." While it sounds simple it's very easy to forget this. It got me to think about why this is true.
Focus Your Energy Where It Matters Most
We have Limited Resources: Time, energy, and capital are finite. We can't afford to dilute our efforts trying to convince those who are indifferent or opposed. Instead, we should channel these resources towards individuals and communities showing curiosity or enthusiasm.
When you engage with an audience that's eager to learn, the educational process is more effective. You'll find more open minds, leading to deeper discussions, better understanding, and ultimately, more advocates.
I have found this to be true time and again this past year. When I am with like minded people I feel encouraged and energized. Yet, I keep finding myself back among the skeptics over and over again.
