Covenant renewed by Moses & had conditional blessings tied to obedience (Deut 28).

Abraham received certain promises & blessings from God under old covenant. These were passed down through Isaac & Jacob to the rest of Israel. But Israel continually fell into idolatry & did not fulfil their part of the covenant. Most of them were led into captivity. A remnant was restored after the Babylonian captivity & rebuilt the temple. In the fullness of time, God sent Jesus to redeem his people. But they rejected him & now old covenant is replaced.

Well there is such a thing as coming under "conviction". When someone becomes a Christian they begin to get convicted by Holy Spirit about things they used to say or do that now they feel is wrong. I would fully expect some of that to be going on here. So its his show, he can say or do what he wants and taking something out later on that he regrets doesn't necessarily equal virtue signaling. I've written plenty of things on here that maybe in hindsight I might wanna retract.

Recognize horror of war specifically the ideologies that cause war. Everyone is the victim in war: men, women, children, elderly, civilian & soldier alike.

When you had Nazis and Communists either advancing or retreating several times over the same territories in eastern Europe over the course of the war.....there's going to be lots of bad blood, accusations against civilians of being a sympathizer for either Nazis or Commies, and inevitable atrocities against the "traitors" at the close of the conflict. Some say lots of German POW's dies in allied camps too. I don't know whose facts are true and whose are false....but war is hell!

No problem. Important fact to stress is it is new & novel interpretation of scripture that came into being though MacDonald's so-called visions which probably indirectly influenced John Darby who then directly influenced Scofield.
We should read scriptures by themselves, without imposing an external interpretive framework.
Scofield provided commentary & interpretations alongside biblical text which spread false doctrine to millions. Perhaps an Anglo/ Zionist plot.
