I used all these talking points myself back in the day, it's as though we're of very much like mind. That being said, I think there are a lot fewer "friendly normies" as you put it today than there were however many years ago when you were still on Gab. I'm of the view that most people have more or less chosen their sides on this topic and that many of the Trump voters who refuse to publicly admit to pro-White thought secretly support it, but since it's secret it's hard to measure exactly how many is "many."
Since most people have chosen their sides, it's now time to start building a parallel society in general. Parallel economy, parallel think tanks, parallel religion, parallel entertainment media, and so on. Why do you suppose I write my zine? (By the way, here's my umpteenth invite to write for it) It's time to openly start refusing to associate with wokesters and leftists and violent niggers and whoever else, jews, name it.
Why do you suppose Sweet Baby Inc et al are using harassment tactics against Whites (and other rightoids)? It's because we're doing exactly this. My one zine is a drop in the bucket. Here's a good example of another rightoid who is doing this, and he's not even really White: Jon Del Arroz. I met him years ago playing World of Darkness on Wanton Wicked. Turns out, today, he's a comic book artist making a living off of it, and he's pointedly right wing. I bring up "other rightoids" because race is one of many axes to align on.
I'd still be a paypiggy for the TRS people if the podcastrace listenership weren't so cultish and their takes so wacky and retarded, not because I couldn't just pirate their media, but because I want to see them win. And I'm one of millions of people willing to do this now. We're a minority, but at this stage, we're a really big one.

Importantly, most Trump voters explicitly try to appeal to blacks, insist they aren't racist, and argue from things like the Constitution, which just got disparaged as ineffectual and valueless because the left (jews, white shitlibs, etc) don't buy into it and try to subvert it. Pro-White racial identity politics have the same issue, that most people, not even most Trump voters, buy into them. It's still very much a no-no line that people aren't allowed to cross.

Most people don't have student loans, but then again most people don't need to commute 100mi/day to get to their $14/hr job at $4/gal, and most people aren't paying $3,000/mo for a one bedroom with bedbugs in downtown, and so on, but most people absolutely are trapped in at least one of these completely life-destroying economic scenarios and I'm truly convinced that they're all going to be dismantled because they're all completely untenable. Like I said, there's no argument abstract and circuitous enough to get people to put up with a trash existence that yields no long-term improvement.
And yes. 15% of people getting caught in just one of these, in this case inescapable debt, is huge. Being $20,000 in debt for someone making $15hr while having to come up with rent and food and whatever else is life destroying. You seem to think that you can just tell 15% of the population to pound sand for life with no significant political consequences, and I don't mean to be dismissive here, but just no.

@npub109x…wvvl I know this is an odd take but I think that the kind of permanent indebtedness where they never own anything and whatever progeny they have will inherit nothing that Xers, millennials, and zoomers are facing is just not going to fly. I think that no amount of lobbying is going to beat this. I think the banks are going to lose this argument in the end.
Millennials in particular are entering the "fuck you, pay me" phase of their lives. Even if they went $250k in debt for a retarded degree in their late teens/early twenties, they're just not going to be willing to work if the pay never amounts to having a good life. This frankly primal drive will trump everything else. They will get paid for real like they were promised, and that's after the student loan payments, or no real work gets done. Failing that they will begin unraveling the nation with nonviolent means out of spite while living off gibs. You cut the gibs off, the guns come out.
This idea that people will just tolerate being treated like garbage their entire adult lives because they were retarded when they just barely became adults is in itself retarded. It's suicidal. The bottom line will always be you need to make a good life realistic in spite of dumbass 20-something life choices to avoid wasteful unproductiveness, and you need to feed people to avoid outright violent revolution.
And so a debt jubilee seems inevitable imo.

Even if I directly supported it with the spec's actual exact words.
@npub1vwr…fnzd didn't want to merge my commit that includes the url field for scrobbling based on a misreading of the ActivityPub spec. The url field can be any representation of the Audio document, like a page about the document or an audio file, or, yes, a web page that streams the audio file. He insisted on me putting the user-submitted YouTube/SoundCloud/whatever URLs into externalLink for reasons.
It's farcical. I'm unlikely to try to work with these people again.

Honestly I’ve done a few interviews with zoomers recently and they seem entirely reluctant to play the game us Millennials did where we “pay dues” in perpetuity only to end up with nothing to show for it in our 30s and 40s. Oh that’s the thing. People won’t actually default on unpaid student loans until next year. Biden put in this thing where your credit won’t get dinged for the first year you “owe” payments. I think they still accumulate and you eventually need to pay the piper all at once, but I bet they won’t even follow through on that.

Those aren’t text editors. Those are IDEs. IDEs are designed to help the programmer and essentially do a lot of the work for them. They help with things like automatically filling things in, listing the parameters for methods and functions, finding all uses of a given variable, that sort of thing. They do some of the work for you and junior developers often rely on IDEs as a crutch. These tools are sophisticated and are above and beyond what a text editor offers. That’s why people pay for them.
They’re also mega gay and I’ve never been a fan of them. They tend to obstruct the programmer a lot of the time. It’s like trying to make a sharp turn on a bicycle with training wheels on it.

That being said, I didn't go through it with Star Wars because, like I said, I never really got into it in the first place. The big ones I watched get corrupted were World of Darkness and Magic: the Gathering

@npub1rv2…pvwv @npub1f8e…zu5u Okay this makes sense. It reminds me of Guild Navigators in Dune, or Psykers in 40k. The aptitude is very rare and even if you have it it still requires tons of training and effort.
I thought they already did this. I recall there was a huge outrage about how Luke Skywalker had to exert all this effort to get his powers, and then some bitch showed up and got all of his powers immediately because girl power.
This sort of thing has had me divest from every major franchise that I was interested in, often for many years. So I thought this was already done deal with Star Wars.
