Ascent on the less touristy side of Harder. Top ridge with a lot of very confused people not understanding what is this running thing and why would anyone want to do it. And descend nearly missing Habkern and back through an unknown path on the North side of HarderGrat. That last bit needs to be altered though. It’s a wide gravel road with no views.

- The same experience applies to the other side, my core expertise: #WebDev. #AI tools gave me incredible performance and quality boost at every level that would by sheer physics limitation never be possible. And, frankly, brought a tiny bit of joy back to the #programming itself. I don’t see *any* value in working on any non business logic or something that does not add user value. Sadly >~80% of my time is always spent on things that “should have been solved already”. AI helps there heaps.

- I don’t have to bend over backwards to make your #€$! over hyped and underfunded tool do what I need it to do, I can get help of #AI with zero knowledge of the domain and the output will be here faster, more precise and with less hair than any other method can give me.

Timeline cleanse time: After 30+ years in #IT, out of which last ~10 were spent in “pointless reinvention of the wheel for 384th time” as a dev and “death by 275 trivial bugs on the most simple workflow” as a user I have to claim that I love what #AI tools brought to the table.

I don't endorse "vibe coding", but saying that we had tools like AI assistants (for coding) back in the days, because we had Visual Basic or Macromedia Flash is ... a bit off? Like those are not comparable on any level.
Did Visual Basic allow me to describe what I want and get me the output? Well on the same level as MS Paint did - it looked like something, but did not *do* anything if I did not know the internals of the languages.

Me: I do actively waste scammers time so that they have less time on scamming people.
People: Yeah, but those scammers are often times victims themselves.
So ... what?
- Like you're either saying that by being in exploited situation gives you some moral high ground to exploit other people.
- Or you're saying that you're agreeing with the status quo of people being robbed of their life savings because ignoring it is easier than trying to fix.
