Are they? If anything everyday it seems to last more, also with Sonnet 4.6 and the ability to tune effort.
Anyway i prefer two pro account, Claude and Gemini, to one max. 1/5 the cost, more flexible, more tools, slightly different models and o never run out of tokens.

My purpose is to build something that's not linked to any specific server or other API and rely exclusively on Upnp/DLNA.
Also, multi-platform for desktop and mobile.

It is a tool, not a replacement, indeed.
That's the whole point: it's "just" a tool. A very nice one indeed.
It replaces many many tasks, not the people performing it. Well, not all of them 😉
As always, if one remains too attached to the old tasks.... well, then replacement or a big downgrade seems inevitable.
But agents won't transform non technical people into programmers, engineers, app builders or even self sufficient tech guys, finally able to master "computers".
On the contrary: it will widen the gap between the (fewer) tech savvy and the rest.

Exactly. Switched to Gemini when they launched 3 Pro and barely used anything else since.
Gemini 3 pro and Jules have transformed my daily work in less then a month.
Also love that at Google (DeepMind really) are taking this approach with many labs and experimental apps that do one thing only and now interoperability begin to appear.

I'm on tidal since years now, after being subscribed to many over longer than a decade: Spotify, Deezer, Google music, and finally Tidal. I even did subscribe to Idagio for over a year.
But yeah, they are all very similar now. I did pick tidal for hi-res flac level audio mostly.

Oh, important note: image generation is *much* more expensive.
It starts from around 40 cents for the lower resolution, using the last OpenAI model.
I almost never do images, so my rates are based on text chat exclusively.

I do not have stats on hand, my bad.
But I can go from 2-3 conversation per day on a lousy day, to 12-14 on an average productive one.
Each conversation has multiple prompts.
I am adding the web search models today, I will try and get more stats on usage "soon" :)

They are priced against the actual model pricing exposed by OpenAI and the rest.
With some surplus, obviously, that I keep.
The best info I can give is my own "bill" as a user since August 5 2023 when it got live. Purchased 40 USD, spent 26.
That's 26 USD in almost 22 months of usage, and I use it pretty much, for coding and what not.
Your mileage may vary but we're talking just over 1USD per month :)

The quick answer: I do not, and I do not think I have to.
People can choose to just have an npub dedicated to services like Frankie, different from the one used here on the "social" nostr.
It is quite simple with Amber or Alby to manage multiple identities and that's the best practice anyway.
Not sure how I could do it without making the UX much worst.

True but to be fair, AI writes that crap cause 99% of coders write exactly like that all the time.
In fact if you just tell the model to not write crap but write functional or use some other proper approach, it will do it better than an Avarage dev.

First, let me state I absolutely feel the pain this would cause. And I'm not "aggressively" supporting anything.
My point is that using bitcoin with decimals has been very bad for years now.
Then, Sats is still a word for hardcore bitcoiners. None of my many friends who have bitcoin in cold storage since over five years knows what a sat is. Or maybe one does, at best.
Analogy: still today a dollar is something meaningful both for everyday usage as well for a nation state GDP.
Due to very high inflation this is to true for some other nations state currencies. When you have to buy bread with a Billion coins, it becomes nonsense.
In Bitcoin the same is true, obviously for the opposite underlying reason: nowadays virtually no new individual will ever own a whole bitcoin. And nothing out there can be priced in a bitcoin, but in a fraction of it.
What's being suggested is the exact same operation done with stock values when they are worth too much per stock in USD. Is convenient for everyday usage which is what we want bitcoin to be used for. Pricing things, paying for purchases many times a day for billions of people.
All that said, I will he perfectly content to switch to a "sats" standard. Anything that removes the fractions and let people buy thousands of unit with a few dollars.
But we're not there yet. All exchanges sells bitcoins, not sats. And honestly as we're just approaching the early majority now, renaming now, it does not seem too late.

Ok i read it.
So, the idea is basically to rename what is informally called sats to bitcoin (or BTC).
I can see that a lot of current material would become obsolete.
At the same time very few people will ever deal with bitcoin units as originally intended plural. Probably 99 plus percent of the planet will only have sats. Everyday conversation will be in sats. Or with a very dumb decimal representation.
No one outside a very close circle of bitcoin geeks knows whats a sat is.
It's probably for the best. And when the late majority will come to buy bitcoins they'll buy a few thousands which is more attractive than a small fraction.

It's harder cause the "market" pushed towards native apps for over a decade. Faster, more reliable, more control, more compliant, stores with policies.. It made sense.
But I can see a momentum for web and pwa. Not just interest from people like us. Also finally Mozilla is jumping back on working on it.
If we work on this all those problems are going to go away.
Just one example: cashu.me is definitely one of the best app i use and it's a PWA.

Yes.
Rrcently I have added Grok 3 deepsearch to my habits, which is basically a time saver in searching the web (stackoverflow, blogs, docs...) and preparing a nice report, kinda verbose but still...
I often use grok to prep docs for my GPT/Deepseek chats that I then do in Frankie: I feel those models are better in writing down and perfecting code with a few iterations.

It is currently the only "complete" wallet I have on mobile.
The only alternative to onboard new bitcoiners with something they can send/receive onchain and LN is Muun, which is much easier.
But of course lacks a few things on custody.
In regard to who the person is I would advise to - well - advise one or the other.
And then of course a nice Cashu wallet as companion 😉

Is @nprofile…5h0z or any other similar initiative funding some publications dedicated to the effort of "spreading" this out there?
One more thing I'd love to see are tools that allow publishers to quickly replicate their twitter / instagram / blog posts to Nostr. As it is not feasible to have Nostr integrated in their tool, an external tool go "grab and republish" could do the work.

Firefox and sometime some Firefox derivatives like Tor, mullvad or maybe even librewolf.
The advantage of having mozilla account so all devices share stuff is big. And with proper extensions and settings is very safe.
Ideal solution would be Firefox based, tor as option, multi platform with nostr based account for sync.

My feel is that svelte 5 is simpler and less cumbersome than 4.
It's (another) move in one right direction.
When i had some confusion migrating was that the previous way was done poorly (by me) and svelte5 made that work perfectly, basically with no code.
My whole app is using very little svelte code "over the hood". It just magically work. No server side rendering. Static adapter. Way to go.
Also their discord server is very helpful and organised.
