@nprofile…lku3 Almost half the scale that you’re so rabid about covers temperatures hotter than it has ever been on the surface of earth. Very useful for knowing the weather.
Single degrees in C cause far more shift than F so you’re forced to use decimals for tuning the interior climate.
Go fight with someone over meters vs feet because the level of anger you have against Fahrenheit is just stupid.

@nprofile…lku3 I’m all for bashing imperial units - I use metric for all of my maker projects, including woodworking which is a pain in the US - but fahrenheit is actually a good scale for human temperature assessment.
0° is really cold, 100° is really hot. I don’t really need to know about the boiling temperature of water when I’m talking about air temperature. Celsius is just as arbitrary and great for science but it’s not as good for human experience.
Literally the only useful imperial unit.

I love that the current regime has eliminated so much science that now I get a 10° F spread of estimated high temperatures across various weather services.
The difference between 95° and 105° affects how we cool the house and plan activities.

@nprofile…3src I’ve been amazed at what I’ve been able to do with static sites. I’ve been using Hugo as the site generator with Decap CMS providing a javascript-based CMS and have a fully web-based post editing.
Probably won’t do all that you need, but it’s been a good exercise for me to really evaluate the features I actually want in a site.

There will be no return to baseline after all this, so what will the new America look like when we take it back from the fascists?
What are the optimistic and idealistic visions for how we build a country for the next century that will be dominated by dealing with climate change?
What literature will be the best guides?
