The reason I found this out is because I was about to run an `aws s3 sync` command from OneDrive to Glacier, but I ran it with `--dryrun` first, and it said it was going to reupload a bunch of photos from 2006-2011. The AWS CLI thinks they've been modified since the last time I synchronised this folder.

I keep my family's photos backed up on a hard drive in my parents' house, in OneDrive for easy access, and AWS Glacier in case their house burns down and Microsoft deletes my account at the same time.
About 1% of those photos, a seemingly random selection, have been modified by *something* within the last year. Their file sizes are slightly larger (only ~3kB). What is going on? Is it malicious? 🧐
