So a year ago, I accidentally took my 2tb SSD with all our family pictures on it, and attached it to my newly flashed umbrel node, thinking that I'd be able to allocate a part of that hard drive to node stuff. Silly me, it wiped the entire drive and I lost everything. I took it to a data recovery place and they werent able to get anything off of it. My wife and I were in shambles over it.
Well, today I discovered a USB drive that had all the photos we lost on it. Thank you Jesus. We are going to have a picture night with the kids tonight to celebrate.

not if you purposely hide that until payment is made. you could set a trigger bool to identify npubs that have been bought/nsecs revealed. so my thought would be that the seller runs the program to generate vanity npubs, once the program identifies the chosen string, instead of displaying the npub and nsec, it would provide an npub and a lightning invoice. once invoice is paid, the hidden nsec would become viewable to the individual who purchased direcly on screen and the bool would trigger to identify that the nsec has been viewed by someone

If Jesus is willing and able to hear our prayers, what is the point in asking other Christians to pray for us? Seems pointless to go to someone else when we have direct access to the only viable mediator between man and the Father.
Except, we are told to pray for one another (James 5:16-18), we are told that the prayers of the righteous are particularly effective, and we know that God is the God of the living, not the dead (Luke 20:38) in direct reference to deceased saints.
To say that "praying to saints", or in other words, asking them to pray for us is wrong is foreign to historic Christianity and I'd argue biblical Christianity. What I won't do is argue against the typical protestant straw man that would identify praying to saints as idolatry while inconsistently asking for prayer from their peers (praying to their peers).
We shouldn't be surprised that the great cloud of witnesses waiting for us, who have been perfected in love and see our struggle here, are willing and able to speak to Jesus on our behalf..because they love us.

If I could go back and redo some things on Nostr, there are several things I would change. My profile on #amethyst looks totally different from #primal with "Recommendations" I don't remember making. #Garnet doesn't play well with multiple users, and if you delete and reinstall, any funds you have on your built in wallet are seemingly lost. Switching to a different client doesn't seem to make the #Monero address disappear for those using Garnet so users could potentially be sending funds to a wallet that no longer exists. Add all this to the fact that you can't really delete anything lol.
I've considered starting over on a different npub but if I did, would I create it with the intention of remaining completely private or would i purposely dox myself to keep all of yall with me? Decisions.

I've noticed that #Garnet displays data of who sends tips through the app in #monero and how much. I would rather that information be private, similar to zapping people totally anonymously. I'm sure the issue could be remedied but it's surprising to me that this information is trackable in app regardless. I think it better to run normal amethyst and simply add an #xmr subaddress to the bio section so as to remove the garnet built in primary wallet visible to all using garnet. Seems like user friendliness comes at the cost of reduced privacy. Maybe I'm being over paranoid.

The gender distinction in competitions helps women, not men. It's like both are competing for the block reward but men are running ASICs while women are running laptop CPUs. The only way they will be able to successfully compete is by mining on a sidechain (ie womens only competition). Maybe the problem is that women grow up with heroes like Mia Hamm that tell them that they need to compete with men to be valuable. Gym in the morning before everyone wakes up. A never ending list of housework to be done whether it be the honey-do list or the endless letters from the HOA overlords. And then I have 5 children... I have to exert more energy in telling them to do chores than it would take if I just did them myself. And then there is unwilling fasting when my wife forgets I exist and work from home because she is too busy dealing with the children's shenanigans throughout the day. It's a humbling life.
