I'm glad which Trev made the GitHub post isn't immediately obvious :) I'm glad you're able to weather the whole thing better than I have.

1 2 and 4 are if agents never get code kept in your project I guess.

At what point could an agentic coded project no longer be considered vibed slop? Obviously comment I only had four options.

Vim was the first extensible text editor I ever tried. Today, it's better than ever.

I will say that it's pretty unbalanced and I suspect my trainer may try to butt in with some different movements. It wouldn't kill me to throw pullups and deadlifts in there somewhere. But it's only 90 days and gains are gains.
What I do like about the workout, at least in the beginner level, is that it's VERY achievable in 10 minutes. That will change once I hit 60+ reps and running that's 15+ minutes.

I have a very silly new blog index to share my very silly fitness challenge.

No, it's not tech related, but I don't feel like spinning up a new domain for this. I hope I stay motivated!

I get all these big protective papa feelings around it. Like, leave Revoy alone, man. It's hard enough for good artists to keep arting these days.

The running joke here is my wife is the leading vim expert in my home. She's most certainly not a programmy text editor person.
I got an email (probably automated) from the Guix project, inviting me to come contribute on their Emacs team 😍
I showed it to her and she gave me the coldest of glares and curtly commanded me to "delete it" 🤣

Noooo I don't think you're weird. You just may have well established sleep habits.
Your body will crave the consistency if it can find it.
The older we get, the more other health factors impact (and shorten) sleep
Also, children.

I am usually in bed for 8 hours and maybe get 6. I would sleep more if I could.

oh I have. You used to have commercials to sustain the networks that your shows ran on and your cable bill was for sevice delivery.
There are no two ways about it: ads in modern streaming are just about greed.

shifting the trust all the way down to what you find acceptable has got to be good enough for you. On Linux systems you could use your own DNS resolver. Pretty sure Fedora was one of the first to do this with DNS Caching. You could maybe set up your own self hosted DNS server. Maybe even on bare metal

I'm going to write all my Rust in GPL3 because we need to unfuck free software licensing a little bit. Not that anything I ever write will matter in court but the more we MIT the more we get left behind.

Many of the things that I enjoy/have enjoyed are written in GoLang! My note taking app, keybase, the elvish shell, the GURPS character sheet creator, hugo, etc. It *feels* like Go is the more popular pick here, but Rust is winning this poll in my small echo chamber. Interesting!

My last language deep dive was #Haskell. It taught me a great many things, one of which was I don't want to write more Haskell.
I'd like to pick the next adventure.

I didn't when I got hired, but we're doing a "hardware refresh" and I may get to choose. I'm deep into NixOS in WSL2 for work. While an Apple may feel simpler (especially for Emacs!) I'm worried about losing my very reliable Linux setup

As a Linux power user/developer, when you're forced to use a Windows or an Apple machine at work, which do you choose? Feel free to expand your views in the replies.

the Fediverse has always been a "safe space" for people with emotional damage. If you're the kind of person who is curious and willing to challenge opinions in some attempt to learn something more, you may get lashed out at for being "ignorant" and making "your learning their problem."
Honestly when you catch a whiff of this, let them be wrong and move on. You'll have more peace. If they don't want to be challenged it's their problem.
