It’s as much a museum as a hotel. There’s a Solari split flap departure board, a museum of historical TWA uniforms, some of Saarinen’s original design drawings, and plenty of 60s-style decor.

It starts with the building, an Eero Saarinen masterpiece that was saved from demolition by landmark status and then refurbished to become the hotel.
It’s over 60 years old and still looks sleek and stylish.

Interesting: we expected the world’s longest flight to have a crazy long takeoff roll, but we lifted off 6800 feet into the 12079-ft JFK 22R. And with only a 9kt headwind.
It probably helps that the @SingaporeAir ULRs carry far fewer pax than their standard A350s do
