A common feature in Spain is the almost general usage of the nazareno or penitential robe for some of the participants in the processions.
This garment consists of a tunic, a hood with conical tip Capirote (capucha) used to conceal the face of the wearer, and sometimes a cloak. The exact colors and forms of these robes depend on the particular procession.
Some tourists from the US can be confused and connect the outfit with Ku Klux Klan.
According to historian Michael K. Jerryson, the capirote was appropriated by the early 20th-century American Ku Klux Klan members.

The church belonged to the village of Sant Romà de Sau, which was submerged along with the surrounding area when the reservoir was created to provide water for Barcelona and the surrounding regions.
The village had a long history, dating back to medieval times, centered around the church and agricultural activities.
When the decision was made to build the dam, the inhabitants of the village were relocated, and the village was intentionally flooded.
During times of drought, the water level of the reservoir drops, revealing the church’s bell tower and sometimes even parts of the remaining structures of the village, serving as a reminder of the area's past.

Inside the Atrium of "La Pedrera"(Casa Milà) in Barcelona

The building was commissioned in 1906 by Pere Milà and his wife Roser Segimon. The building did not respect any rules of conventional style, for which Gaudí received much criticism. To begin with, the name "La Pedrera" is in fact a nickname assigned by the citizens who disapproved of its unusualness. The unique structure of the building and the relationship between the building's architect and Pere Milà became the object of ridicule for the people of Barcelona and many humorous publications of the time.
Casa Milà is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Works of Antoni Gaudí".

The human towers are formed by castellers standing on the shoulders of one another in a succession of stages (between six and ten). Each level of the tronc, the name given to the second level upwards, generally comprises two to five heavier built men supporting younger, lighter-weight boys or girls. The pom de dalt – the three uppermost levels of the tower – comprises young children. Anyone is welcome to form the pinya, the throng that supports the base of the tower.
