Hi, I'm new here and trying to bulid a #python #nostr client. Is there a relay for developers that won't flag me as spam if I make many requests? #grownostr #relaystr
I keep limits very low as I just need a few notes for dev but still am worried about that.
Thank you.

Client surely was nostr.com webapp with #chromebrowser because I had it bookmarked, and that's the one I'm using right now, but I'm trying to build my own #nostr client with #python so I'd like to retrieve my nsec else I gotta make a new identity I think. Thanks.

2026-10-13 19:16:31 UTC

I did login with google time ago but now I don't have nsec and can only login to clients that have google sign on. Trying to figure it out.

I logged in on nostr.com website years ago and surely used google sso to sign in because now i don't have private key and can only log in to clients that have google sso as an auth method.
Now i'm fckd if i can't retrieve it somehow because I'm trying to build a client myself and don't want to make a new account. Thread navigation on nostr.com is very bad. You can't suggest this to family and friends.

You're right, pussies block you. I spam a lot on X. Now I've "reached daily limit" so landed here. Never seen that before on X. It's becoming greedy but it's the least censored in my opinion.

I'd like to try and build a client to understand the protocol if I'm able to.

2026-10-10 07:11:31 UTC

- reply

‘Distributed’ doesn’t mean ‘immune’, I get it. But it's better than totally centralized data that can be controlled very easily. For instance, you can't be shadowbanned here, I believe.
X/twitter is full of bots and I advocate for bots to be recognizable on all platforms. Obviously they won't do that as it would mean they can't be used to gaslight people anymore.

2026-10-10 07:03:38 UTC

- reply

I like that

2026-10-10 07:02:00 UTC

- reply

I'm trying to wake people up but it ain't easy because, as you said, algorithms are controlled and the only way out, for now, is distributed platforms/data. Centralized platforms will always be controlled. I hope #nostr will do the job but I'm new here so I don't yet know.

2026-10-10 06:55:13 UTC

- reply

Exactly. People want validation and they want to burst and rage against whoever happens to be around. That's a big problem. Feminists are an example of that. Just dumb idiots working against that "clarity" you mentioned.
#Clarity is what we need.

#humannature is #freedom and #freedomofspeech but they're fighting hard against it so it's very hard to communicate clearly and effectively today.

2026-10-10 05:33:58 UTC

- reply

The problem is there is too much confusion in communication nowadays, everybody screams and lets it out with their fake bullshit, and that's a very big problem but also very complex because everyone feels they have the truth, as there are no big personalities (opinion leaders) you can trust today. Politicians are corrupt and blackmailed. Platform algorithms are controlled so the truth never comes out. Again, distributed #socialmedia is the way out of that because discussion will bring the truth but that is hard and takes a long time.

I wouldn't use the expression "divide and conquer" because it is not what it means (in my view) but you're absolutely right in summarizing the problem. They control #socialmedia platforms and #msm so it's easy for them to brainwash people into factions. What can we do to fight that? Many things. Distributed #media is the logical way to go to empower people and #Nostr is one of them. Happy I found it but I just landed here so I'm trying to understand it to see how I can contribute. Also (very important) #worldpeace starts from freeing the animals from human slavery.

2026-10-10 05:07:23 UTC

- reply

I do agree we should all be independent #thinkers and doers. That's why I fight #religions and religious people. I call them "plebs" but here the term has a different meaning, I hear...

2026-10-10 05:03:54 UTC

- reply

I kinda agree. The problem is "ruling class" trying to push people into competing factions so that they don't talk to each other and keep fighting themselves. Kinda like generic "fascists" vs "antifascists", left vs right et cetera. The so called "useful idiots" still fall for that. Religions will never win. Nor will #marxism. Nature will.
