I used to have a UPS inverter, but it recently burned out., I can't even charge my phone or the battery we use to light the tent we’ve been in darkness ever since it stopped working. Life inside our tent may seem simple and cheap, but in reality, it’s complicated & full of suffering. Every day, we are burdened with tasks from sunrise to sunset, just to meet our children’s basic needs. What exhausts us most is the crushing daily routine of trying to secure water, food, & warmth.
Even worse is the repeated displacement it has torn away our stability and slowly killed the hope within us. We no longer feel safe, & we don’t know where we’ll be tomorrow.

We’re forced to buy expensive water from private trucks—100 shekels for 1,000 liters that last just two days for two families. Even then, the water often isn’t drinkable.Israel has used water, food, and medicine as weapons. Nearly 90% of Gaza’s infrastructure was destroyed, and fuel vital for running water systems is almost nonexistent. In 50 days, only enough fuel arrived for five days of municipal use.

Life in the tent is getting harder each day.
Winter is approaching, and our tent is old, torn, and no longer protects us from the rain. Water seeps through every corner.
We have no means to buy plastic sheets or covers to shield ourselves from the storms.
