Wonder what urban planner thought it was a good idea to rope in investors and invite tech companies to #Pune. As it is, the city is surrounded by hills and had narrow roads with buildings nearly touching them. Hinjewadi was a good idea but one can safely assume it's now surrounded with apartments and most of the greenery is gone.
Last I visited, it took 25+ minutes to get from Symbiosis to (old building) Persistent systems - an auto commute of no less than 5 minutes back in the early 2000s.

Still find it strange why chayote (green gourd) hasn't picked up in most of India. I guess it's do to with local taste buds. Quite plentiful in these parts. Either had a boiled, as an addition with fried meat, or made into a salad. The leaves also make a delicious stew.

Informative, as always.
There's also this 'Mizo Ginger' that received its Geographical Indication (GI) sign/mark a few years ago. Mostly mixed with chutney or into a salad but not really good for those ginger/garlic pastes (for curry etc) but best eaten raw. This was also the reason that farmers from Mizoram were unable to sell it to Indian market. I hear there's a good market now since the Indian foodie is now more adventurous.

A traveler's stop - the (other) type of Dhaba we have in these parts. They typically serve tea, fried sticky rice, aloo/poori, boiled chana, and boiled eggs. Of course, the usual potato chips and cigarettes. No full course meals.
Sumo (vehicles) usually stop in these shacks to let passengers have a quick break and freshen up. The drivers in return get the items (served) for free - the sorta 'you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours' agreement.

So how do we know this is 'the' Jackie in the pic in Nostr? In the Fediverse there's some kinda permalink that one uses on their profile to know you're reply to the 'real deal'.
TL;DR: If someone says, "I'm Obama" on Nostr, is there a provision (way) in #Nostr to know I'm talking to the 'real' Obama?

Those 'dramas' are real. Haven't worked for one that comes with physical abuse but there was this one service company I worked for where the CTO of the client (an Indian based in the UK) would blurt out expletives to the developers during meetings - BC, BKL, and F.
Then there was also this video of a call (meeting) that Byjus had removed from almost popular SM sites, LI, FB, IG, and reddit.

Well it's made from cow's milk. So yes, it's vegan. These are not the commercial ones if that's what you're asking. They're called 'Desi Ghee' for a reason - processed in local Gaushalas or farms.
