Really been enjoying @npub17lr…294v's podcast about social media (where it came from, how it's failed, how it should change), https://revolution.social/. The latest episode with @npub1qe7…8t4d was probably the best yet.
One thing I haven't heard addressed yet: does anyone even *want* social media anymore? In talking to people I know, most seem to have zero expectation that social media can ever be positive again, and seem to prefer a future without it entirely. Are the only people who want it back the scant cadre of nerds who enjoyed its few years of legitimacy?
