I've been an #Audiobook listener for 20+ years, mostly because I'm in the car a lot and having kids kills your brain for reading at night. I had over 500 books in my #Audible library but it's time to go.
Doing business with #JeffBezos has just become too unpalatable. That and @npub1fdr…lvhs has taught me to reject DRM and he helped me find https://Libro.fm - I signed up for a membership and have already bought and pre-ordered 6 new books over there.

this is what middle America sees. This and the stories about looting and violence.
They will not see the story about the mother or father being separated from their children. They all not see the violence being inflicted by ICE.
All they see is "violent latino criminals" or whatever fox is telling them.
Whatever the points of the protests were, it's lost on a large part of the rest of the country.
