When your support team surfaces from Starbucks explaining something about VPN's and certificates for your TAK, show this image to them. I know you need to travel, plan and coordinate. But leave all those IT dept things behind. They are targeted, creates EW, forensic and interception footprint. Some things are just better keep off from CN devices, Signal & cloud. Only thing you need is that one guy who can compile Edgemap for you. You cannot trust binary, therefore get the source at my Github [1] and tell procurement to take rest of the day off. Edgemap is free and open source.

Sorry, you don't need vendor or any of those sticker mac's. You need stock of components, peoples who get open source and maker skills. As they told me from front line, vendors are not there. You're there all by yourself. You have to do what you have to do. That's what Resilience Theatre is all about. Start at my Wiki [1] and then head to my Github [2]. Lastly, start finding those non mac peoples fast and even better if you cannot reach them with Signal. They are the ones you need.

One MicroSD card and Raspberry PI. With $35 + $24 you get totally off the grid planning environment for your tasks. Plan and coordinate regardless access to infrastructure like cellular or satcom. Sometimes it's also good if you don't leave traces to great firewalls. Edgemap is open source and available at my Github for free!

It's Edgemap. Small linux firmware (so not distro based) running on raspberrypi 4 - making whole world street level map and situation scope communication from that unit. No software to install and allows you to integrate sensory, networks for spatial presentation.
