People are busy sending Zaps for a party racking up millions of sats and projects like my friend @npub1y3u…yzhd with @npub16fc…shgh who spends a lot of his free time on it gets less than 200,000 sats in a month. Is a bad look and shameful for #nostr
I'll wait for @npub1tpy…7gzc which is for actual #plebs

Had to take a vacation. Too much data input.

Yep. Data does not need to live forever but the point of making content is to share it. V4V can be at the client level with Zaps. Gossip model could lead to excessive network chatter at scale. Don't think any NIPs for locking down reading from relays. ??? Once that is around will be bad.

2023-07-23 16:45:19 UTC

The true tests for #nostr are coming soon. Everyone trying to monetize relays will end up complaining or blocking people to create the very walled gardens they rail against. 🤣
Already see it with people pushing niche relays.

Is ZEBEDEE the Craig Wright of nostr?

2023-07-09 18:19:35 UTC

Have some #nostr clients become bloatware full of half baked NIPs?
What ever happened to features just in time, not just in case?

2023-07-09 17:54:30 UTC

Not personally a shitcoin fan but would like to see someone implement interactions between nostr and one to see all the fake new school maxis shit a brick. Same ones who go on about it being open and free. 🤣🍿
The #plebchain acts as though nostr is welcoming to everyone, unless they have a differing opinion of liking something other than BTC. Then they get flamed off nostr from what I have seen.

I lurk in the shadows too much to do a podcast. Would be cool to do like roundtable discussion on a topic. Maybe like on relays? I have known @npub1y3u…yzhd since 2009 from the hacking/cybersec world. He has been active in BTC since then and got me into BTC and nostr. Maybe him, @npub1yxp…qud4 (strfry), @npub1qqq…n47m (nostream) and some others.
Just a suggestion. Thanks for the reply. Sorry @npub1y3u…yzhd for putting you on blast but you deserve it. I know how much you like the attention 🤣🫂 AKA The Savior of Chicago 🥸

Nothing against anyone mentioned, love you all. But seems like there is a core click of people I see on all the podcasts and videos. While there are a lot of other people providing dev and services never seen on any.

So let me get this right. The right-wingers and alt-right loooove freedom and freedom of choice. Unless you are gay or trans? Fascism and bigotry can't be rationalized into normality.

It's gotten to the point where listening to anyone talk about their political beliefs is like that same person describing to you in painful detail their morning bowel movement.
Nobody wants to hear that shit.

Bitcoin is in the final hurdle before wide acceptance and adoption. There is always a big last gasp from the government to try to stop it. They fain contempt for it as they stack their own Sats or bet against it.
It will be okay. 🤙🫂
