I hate sports.
It is pointless and boring.
It's fairly obvious for sports based on human physical ability, like light athletics or boxing, because at the end of the day, the winner is defined by genetics and training programs that are more or less the same for everyone.
There is no place for creative problem solving here, only gay ass "fair competition". If you discover a drug that makes you two times stronger, you gonna be banned. You can't implant a gun in your hand to shoot your opponent, you gonna be banned (and put in jail).
Motorsports seems to be better in that regard at the first glance.
The whole point of it is a team of engineers inventing creative, mad devices, which is fun to watch.
Until you realize that every time some F1 team invents a new cool and smart feature that makes their car different from others, IT GETS BANNED.
After application of all FIA regulations, F1 cars are essentially the same car.
Honest and fair sports competition is inherently dead boring, and i hate it.
But i like cheating. Cheating and rule breaking is where all the interesting, creative solutions come into play.
The very nature of cheating and bypassing the rules demands two things:
a) do something illegal
b) somehow brainwash everybody else that you never did that!
You can't accomplish these tasks by just training harder; you have to think and come up with solutions that are novel and often really weird, and that is very interesting to follow.

Apparently, many warhammer fans are genuinely shocked by the concept of daemonculaba when they find out about it.
In a nutshell:
The daemonculaba is a creation of the iron warriors and the dark mechanicum designed to produce new chaos space marines.

I have an impression that the need for some free temporary s3-compatible storage arises quite often.
For example, you might want to upload an image for three minutes to transfer it somewhere that requires a link and/or s3, and then delete it.
Opening an account on any cloud platform just for that feels like shooting sparrows with a helicopter chaingun.
There are free image hostings, but they aren't s3 compatible, and are often human-centric. So no automatic uploads (or paid automatic uploads), extreme rate limits and other stuff like that.

Yep, it's the sad part. Sometimes, fans say dumb things, because they don't understand your vision, demand decisions that are practically impossible to implement, subjectively dislike your otherwise legit work, turn media criticism into wacky political activism, etc.
There is a virtue in ignoring that kind of people and doing what you think is right.
Bethesda has no vision. It's one thing if they genuinely wanted to make fallout less grimdark and more wacky, goofy and colorful, and with that new direction in mind, were writing consistent lore and characters. Bethesda doesn't do any of that, and i think the humorous and absurd tone of new fallout installations is just a byproduct of their low effort writing and worldbuilding.

THE HARSH TRUTH:
Not every idea of the bethesda writers is fundamentally and irredeemably fucked up.
The problem is that they are either unable or unwilling to explore these ideas with the proper depth, severity and lore implications.
Take fallout3, for example.
Is it plausible that the capital wasteland has a water crisis? Yes. Add water barons and a water-based economy (e.g., using clean water bottles as currency instead of caps). Add a reason why the capital wasteland has uniquely terrible natural water sources compared to the west coast.
Is it plausible that a bunch of rich people live isolated in tenpenny tower? Yes. They could be water barons who were initially vault dwellers and used the G.E.C.K. to build their own mini water purifier.
Is it plausible that there is a militarized group of knights in shining armor that defend wastelanders from threats? Yes. Just don't call them the brotherhood of steel, and make power armor less common.
I find certain things in f3 indefensible, such as the abundance of super mutants on the streets, and the enclave. Supermutants are a post-war genetic engineering development by one person on the west coast; they are unique to mariposa. The enclave was also unique to one oil platform that exploded at the end of f2.
Some minor locations, such as a city populated only by children, are also indefensible.
However, i believe that you can take a couple of good writers and make sense of f3 while keeping the major plot points and ideas.

The idea that lived in my head rent-free for some time:
I really don't like fallout show in general, it doesn't respect the lore of original gaems, it doesn't respect the lore of Bethesda's own gaems, it doesn't respect itself and its fans.
There are multiple hour-long videos explaining how terrible it is.
That said, i find the idea of an anti-feral drug for ghouls interesting. It received a lot of criticism, as well as literally everything else in this show. Apparently, in the show, ghouls are supposed to take this drug from day one to avoid becoming feral, which makes a lot of previously established lore invalid.
But i have another idea.
We should treat ghoul feralization like cancer. This means that the process is
a) non-instantaneous and somewhat predictable
b) non-universal and depends on many factors
You could get cancer at five years old, or you could live your entire life and die at ninety without ever getting cancer.
If you are diagnosed with cancer at 30, you can live a fairly long life with proper treatment.
Keeping that logic in mind, we can make the following determination:
Ghouls can go feral on day one, after a hundred years, or they can live perfectly fine for over two hundred years.
Ghouls can sense when feralization begins or be diagnosed with feralization syndrome.
This explains why there are sentient ghouls in the fallout universe who haven't used medicine for decades and are still fine.
At some point, a faction launched a research program to develop an anti-feral drug for ghouls because of reasons.
For example, it could be vault city from fallout 2.
We can canonize the collaboration ending of gecko quest; therefore, vault city will need ghouls from gecko to run the reactor and provide power. Due to the high level of radiation, only ghouls can operate this station. If all the ghouls in gecko turned into retarded zombies, they wouldn't be able to run the reactor anymore. So, here it is: people with the intellectual capacity to develop such a drug AND a plausible motivation to do so.
(But we can create a new faction if we want)
The result of all this mental gymnastics is what i find an interesting expansion of fallout ghoul lore. You could write a whole ass game around this concept.

Proof of work captchas are actually genius.
Captchas supposed to do one thing, that is to make it easy for legit users to access the service and deny it to botnets.
Historically developers used visual riddles for that. But since deep learning algorithms and language models started to get more and more advanced, captchas start getting more and more annoying and complicated, until they become essentially anti-human.
It is much easier to create an ai agent that will automatically solve captchas than force users to waste their cognitive power on these multi-stage puzzle games. You probably remember a couple of occasions where you were opening a random link from search results and closing it immediately because it asked you to select all crosswalks.
Proof of work captcha doesn't require you to do that, you just have to wait for 30 seconds or so. Bots can access the website too, but they will be naturally throttled.

I was using arch linux with plasma on gaming laptops for years with no problems. All gaming laptops naturally have two gpus, discrete and integrated, so the user interface is running on integrated gpu in most cases. I therefore avoided nvidia moments. Now, i have a desktop with only nvidia gpu. I own this pc for not that long, but i already encountered a weird, random, unfixable bug.
What the fuck is this shit...

I didn't even watch avatar2, but this movie lives in my head rent free for some time. How could the movie this big and successful be so empty and basic in its narrative? It's genuinely fascinating, it's like a meta-storytelling. Characters in story don't matter, but movie itself is an interesting character that is fun to think and learn about.

Text rendering in capabilities in image generators is a completely useless feature.
Good font quality is very difficult to achieve, it requires a huge model and a special dataset, all derivative models trained by community always drop the support for it. On top of that, adding fancy text to your image using whatever image editor has always been very easy.
