I’m traveling with my parents next month, and for part of the trip there’s a dress code at dinner. I think this means I have to make a couple blouses. Does anyone have any cute indie patterns to recommend? I have crepe de chine, poplin, and double gauze in my stash that I could use.

This week has been one big cognitive dissonance headache for me.
But the one that keeps getting me is if Americans love freedom so much, why don’t they celebrate trans people? Freedom to be yourself seems like a pretty fundamental form of freedom. And they say they’re into it. Or at least they used to.

I frequently miss having nearby friends who spent their twenties being space clowns or the equivalent.
I’ve ended up with almost no eldritch millennials in my local friend group.

@nprofile…jytp no knitwear, and only very expensive garments. Tailoring tends to have less serging, because lined seams don’t tend to be finished at all on the inside.
