Currently I am learning how to train Neural Networks (NNs).
I now how they work ... but not how to build them with Rust and Burn.
This is a simple MNIST Test where I train a Model that can predict hand drawn numbers. Kinda cool looking. I am pretty sure Rust is the future for AI development because its fast, safe and the Burn Framework is so great. Try it out!

Legendary? Absolutely. But even legends deserve a retirement. Make is goated for C projects, but for modern web stacks, just is just built different. Time to let the past be the past!

2026-03-14 21:31:20 UTC

Stop Making, Start Justing
If you are still using make as a task runner for your web or other projects, it is time for an upgrade. While make is a legendary tool, it was designed for compiling C code in https://media.malxte.de/e6e5c889d82a49c3af10c345c21f87b97ae04487ecf385d7b915d986fad067b3.jpegthe 70s—not for modern app etc development workflows.
Why just is simply better:
No Tab Tyranny: Unlike make, just doesn't care if you use tabs or spaces. No more "Missing separator" errors because of a hidden whitespace.
Environment Aware: It handles .env files natively and works consistently across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Clean Syntax: The syntax is purpose-built for command execution. It feels like writing a clean script rather than a complex build configuration.
Parameter Support: Passing arguments to your commands is intuitive and doesn't require complex shell gymnastics.
In the screenshot below, you can see how I’ve integrated just into my pnpm Svelte project.

We have a new Anonymous AI Model on Openrouter called Hunter Alpha. It is so impressive. Very fast and accurate reasoning. It says it's devoloped by a group that wants to create AGI. It screams that it has to be the new Deepseek V4!? Also it has a 1 million Kontext window. Amazing! And the name Hunter Alpha maybe says something like hunting towards AGI because it's Deepseeks goal.

Building cool stuff with Rust 🦀 is very safe, but what about OpenClaw (ClawdBot, Moltbot)?
Is it safe? Honestly... not really. ⚠️
https://media.malxte.de/851e0210bb84fbaf6fc9d9529183f3b6105070f90e1a1f0503282d12166b3e57.jpeg
The Security Gap 🛡️
Right now, OpenClaw has some big holes:
Plain Text: Sensitive data is often stored or sent without strong encryption.
Access Control: Permissions are still very "open," making it easy for unauthorized access.
Beta Stage: The code hasn't been fully audited for modern exploits yet.
BUT... is it still a genius tool? YES! 🚀
If you isolate your environment, it’s a total game-changer. 🤖✨
Which side are you on? Security first or "Ship it anyway"? 🚀
Zapping my Post keeps me and my Server running 🧡⚡ Would be nice 🙂

Imagine an AI Agent that doesn't just "run tasks" but is a real citizen of the Nostr ecosystem:
Sends and receives Zaps ⚡️
Posts updates autonomously 🤖
Acts as a digital worker that earns and manages its own Bitcoin 💰
An autonomous employee living entirely on-chain. That’s the future.

Is multiplatform development a pain? Not if you use Rust. 🦀
But which framework wins?

Tauri 🦀 + 🌐
Best for: Complex Desktop & Mobile apps.
The Edge: Use any JS frontend (React/Svelte) or Rust (Yew). Best-in-class system access (Camera/Storage) and tiny footprints.
Link: tauri.app
Dioxus 🦎
Best for: Speed and simplicity.
The Edge: Very similar to Flutter. Great for cross-platform, though system-level compatibility is still maturing.

That’s pretty solid! I think we’re seeing a huge Bitcoin comeback here in 2026. It’s a great time to get in before the Bitcoin price climbs to $100,000 or even higher. 📈

Rust: Die Zukunft für KI?! 🦀🚀
https://media.malxte.de/319145df7701a85481678159f1f5d51dbab62bc95a3f6fa17d338762ecb11583.jpeg
Effizienz trifft Sicherheit. 🛠️

Rust: The Future for AI?! 🦀🚀
https://media.malxte.de/319145df7701a85481678159f1f5d51dbab62bc95a3f6fa17d338762ecb11583.jpeg
Why not Python?
Let’s be real: Python is the go-to for Data Science, and that’s why it was chosen for AI. But as we push boundaries, we hit limits. Python often lacks the speed, safety, and efficiency needed to handle the next generation of AI natively.
Why Rust?
Rust provides the performance we actually need. Thanks to the Borrow Checker, you get memory safety without a garbage collector. With strict typing and high-speed execution, it’s built for the massive data loads of AI training and inference.
The best part? Frameworks like Burn are making Rust AI a reality right now.
All in one – The Dream Setup
Imagine you want a fast, safe Desktop and Mobile App with one codebase and local AI:
Frontend: Build with Dioxus (Rust-based, cross-platform).
AI-Core: Integrate Burn for local model execution.
Deploy: Export to Android, Desktop, or Web seamlessly.
Efficiency meets safety. 🛠️
