Electricity on a sliding rate
1. Scrap standing charge
2. Up to a certain usage you pay one lowish rate
3. Above that rate you get charged an increasing rate depending on usage
4. If you are a massive user .. you get charged a surcharge on top and encouraged to generate your own electricity
Lots of benefits from helping the less well off, lowering consumption, charging people who have the wealth more to encouraging people to generate

Seeing lots of beautiful pictures of Auroras North and South from areas that don't normally see them (or do they?)
I know they are the interaction between solar flares and the Earth's magnetic lines.
Are they more visible now due to climate changes or it just a phenomenon that has always been visible at these places?

Carbon capture along with Carbon offsets are abit of a con... Allowing the Fossil Fuel industry to carry on as normal and pretend they are taking climate change seriously.
They're not
We should be vastly cutting fossil fuel usages and production now ... Planting trees like mad and going green as fast as possible

Council housing lists worked fine for decades and then right to buy and restricted ability to build social housing was Implimented
Just because something needs thinking about in order to get it to work efficiently and fairly or appears as socialism does mean it shouldn't be done

Certain areas need some social housing to keep young people in a rural or coastal which is awash by air bnb and holiday homes... Pricing kids out of the market.
My son has just bought his first home for him and his family in an Area close to Anfield.. LFC... The area has a high percentage of Airbnb in what should be family homes.
The only benefit is they are well maintained at the expense of community and increase property values

After WWII the UK was financial on its arse... Yet we did big bold things and created jobs and built houses... Collectively digging ourselves out of a hole
Now we have caution and dithering... We had creation of businesses... Now we have exploitation of people for personal wealthy individuals gain.
The same solutions employed after 1945 will work in today's market, if the Gov is brave enough and doesn't rely on the wealthy to distribute any gain upwards.
