Plus it's harder to fake a real device like a USB literally turning a key on the PC and sending a hard signal unique to the keyin device. You can't fake a real mechanical action like that. It's a lot more secure.

I did figure some of it out. I think the platform could use an easier onboarding for people who think that keys are too complicated. Maybe there's a way they could make it easier. I've long thought that a USB reader system would be far superior. You plug the USB in to signin and then bypass all kinds of noisy security systems. We're on 2025 and the fact that there isn't an automatic login system is pretty sad.

This pen plotter is awesome.
I've thought about something like this as an alternative to color printers when you want to save on ink.
Imagine using this to write books and things out to text and you don't have to spend a lot of money on ink. Just some cheap ball point pens.

Working in my small print farm. I got three printers and two outlets so I can only run two of them. One of them is down for maintenance but not before I print some epic experiments. I might even play around with Slant3Ds portals on some of my newer designs or share/sell them on printables.

Never rely on AI to get it 100% correct. Can Hal link sources? If so I would recommend how to phrase the question with requests for links to what you're asking about for sure. Sometimes that helps me out with Grok too. Avoid asking the AI to make a judgement call. You can ask AI for a TLDR and it mostly gets those okay.

I have used Obsidian to write articles which is one option that I'm considering. I want to use Lantern but it doesn't always push to where I want it. I've used mybib online to collect sources which I like that. Need to collect sources and archive them. Need to compile the information into a distillable form. TLDR format with further explanation afterwards to dig deeper. Maybe AI should be involved idk. I always like building systems and coming up with ideas, but I'm not capable of the programming stuff. I can do some very light stuff and that's all. It's too complicated and confusing. But what I want maybe it's possible eventually. I just have a problem with sticking with a method.
