that must be an American thing. In civilized countries we have several options (including direct money transfer provided by bank API).
PayPal is easier/faster in most cases but if business wants my money, they provide a way. Or they lose a customer.

in which banana republic you live that PayPal is the one and only method to pay?
On civilized world people can pay using money transfer or by using card (and most modern banks provide options for virtual card, so you don't give your card number to everyone.
PayPal is service on top of that. It's convenience, not necessity.

I've already banned PayPal from my money transactions, so... this "retaliation" isn't unexpected.
Also, Peter Thiel (and his Palantir) can go fuck himself with an ice pick. Along with Musk and other assholes from this group of Israel serving pedophiles.
The less is PayPal used, the better it would be for everyone.

even the most optimistic scenarios with batteries is like storing flood water in baby bottle in hope it would solve drought later.
(Not mentioning the ecological impact of mass production of batteries).
There isn't one simple & elegant solution. Most solutions would still need nuclear and/or fossil fuel energy at some capacity. And ability to trade/transfer/balance electricity at great distances over the continent (which makes the system somewhat vulnerable).

Main problem with electricity from wind is unpredictability - and for the whole system, that's a big problem.
Most fossil fuel based sources are stable, predictable and unfortunately can't be easily switched on or off on a whim.
So... for wind to work, you need plenty of fast sources to balance it out to prevent blackouts.
Water is one possible but imperfect solution.
Fossil fuel lobbying is a problem, but there are practical problems too.

We are tired of being strong. I had to be strong for majority of my adult life.
I don't have it in me anymore. I just want to survive. I don't make plans for future. I don't want kids (this isn't world to bring kids into). I don't build, because it's futile.
I. Just. Want. To. Survive. Another. Day.
And honestly... It feels like I should rather give up and die, since I see no hope on the horizon.
