He’s a basically a fund manager. He’s not giving ALL gains away in dividends, that’s how he makes his living, by taking a little cut from investors—I would expect him to be prudent.
Remember his “entities” own MOST of the Bitcoin, not Saylor. Don’t know how much he owns, don’t care. He couldn’t have done what he’s done without OPM. In a sense, he’s hedged his bet and is no friend of Bitcoin.

No, because Saylor’s use of Bitcoin, as a security, is not what it was intended for, though he has a right to do so.
No again because he has “outperformed” Bitcoin during a specific (and limited) time window. It’s impossible long-term to outperform Bitcoin using Bitcoin.
One Bitcoin = One Bitcoin, “if and only if” you hold the keys, in this case Saylor (or his formed entities) does. You have no guarantee he won’t rug you, none.

Once again, thank you Iain. I have read all three of your suggested articles on “Voluntary Democracy,” with enough attention to gain a conceptual understanding along with the desire for further study of them. Parts one and two were easy to grasp, I was not aware how similar the U.K. and U.S. governmental structures are in spirit and challenge. Part three would need to be subdivided to a far more granular level for similar comprehension at my same reading pace and will certainly be revisited.
Three quick observations for possible follow on: first, Talmudic Judaism/Zionism (TJ/Z) and “Voluntary Democracy” (VD) are as incompatible as oil and water, there is no known surfactant for TJ/Z. Second, I was struck by the parallels (which you touched on in further reading) of VD with “anarchy” as I understand it—which most don’t. And finally, that VD as described and Bitcoin as intended in principle and application are completely compatible (which you also touched on), corollaries to civil existence and totally anathema to TJ/Z.
With what I’ve read so far you will be highly recommended by me for reading by Bitcoiners and a welcome (needed!) addition to the NOSTR community.

If you haven’t earned it you won’t know how employ it and no good will come of it. That said, we (the U.S.) live in a highly manipulated economy with a highly manipulated labor market that shows no sign of organic reversal without intervention. The only way I can fathom avoiding governmental intervention is rapid, voluntary, escalating localization in every possible way, which is a LONG SLOW process—too slow considering where we currently are, but do it anyway to prime the pump.
What you CAN do immediately to affect your personal situation is adopt bitcoin to facilitate local economies, consume less and produce more—personally and physically. The ways you can manifest this are numerous.
Today, consuming less will NOT have a noticible negative effect on U.S. employment in the near term.

Foundry work, motorcycles and genes—wearing hearing aids for thirty years now, most of which my experience has been sub-par (better than mostly deaf though!).
In the last 10-15 years the technology has advanced incredibly and the addition of Bluetooth connectivity in combination with advances in digital devices? It’s like I’m bionic!
Only downside still deaf at night when they’re out and charging, but I have a black German Shepherd Dog whose hearing is just fine!

I agree with what you stated so simply though I’ve lost confidence in the arsenal that SHOULD be available to us.
