Please consider hosting videos on other places than just #YouTube.
#Google is making it increasingly difficult to view their videos in ways that don't make you choke on their surveillance, ads and cookies. I will *never* load a video directly from YouTube, and I know I'm not the only one.
Please consider posting them on #PeerTube and sync that to YT for the people who still don't understand how evil Google is.

Ja, als je 1 x meer moet klikken dan op een commercieel platform, is het ineens moeilijk of bewerkelijk.
Stel je voor dat je af en toe even moet nadenken over wat je doet, ipv gedachteloos kunt klikken op gelikte knopjes.

Nice. Built my first working instance of Element Call. Everything running on our own servers and under our control, and true end-to-end encryption. Eat that, Zoom!
It's only a test setup for now, but I foresee that Element Call will quickly become the main tool for videoconferencing, not only here but in many ICT environments.

True, but it's still a Really Bad Thing™
I'm not using WhatsApp, Signal will probably refuse and I'm sure I'll still be able to get a clean Element for use with Matrix.
And if Google/Apple have to force-install it (you know, those enterprises the EU fines for privacy scandal after privacy scandal), I'll install e/OS.
But the point is that, either way, the vast majority of EU citizens will move to a modern version of 1984...
