I love a good remake if it respect the source material and expands on it. The remake of the first Resident Evil is one of my favorite video games of all time. The remake of 7 has issues for sure. The dementor things flying anound seem to be a set up for them to have an excuse to alter the story significantly. I haven't played part two, but I have a sinking feeling Aeris will live and Zach will somehow come back to life.

@nprofile…4j2l @nprofile…5fvr I played 1-10, but never played 11 because I was never a mmo kinda guy. Never finished 12. Something about it rubbed me the wrong way. 13 was a massive pile of dog shit and haven't played any of the new ones since, unless you count the 7 remake.
I thought about playing 10 again. Been on a nostalgia kick lately.

@nprofile…xe7x grab yourself a study Bible. Those usually come in translations that make reading it easier (though not perfect) such as NLT. I would recommend starting in any of the gospels to learn the character of Christ as a model of how to grow in faith and grace, and how his sacrifice redeems us from eternal seperation from God's holy presence.
Then find a church. It might take a couple of tries before you find one that is right for you. But having a community of like minded, supportive, spiritual people is amazing. I highly recommend a men's/woman's Bible study group within that church to develop friendships and to help understand your Bible more thoroughly.
All else fails, even anonymous internet weirdos can help. If you have questions, ask away. Finding my faith and leaving my atheist past was the most important decision of my life, and I have never looked back.
