Here's a proof-of-concept example of a Delta.Chat bot for .NET
It's pretty basic, especially since I can't get #open-rpc-generator to generate #csharp code, seems to be limited to #rust and #typescript
To use it, follow the `import` instructions and provide your own implementation of `IMessageProcessor`.

So it actually worked. You can use #blazor or #godot to build #webxdc apps. Basically this means you can use #csharp to build webxdc apps or games. This is perfect for asynchronous #multiplayer #games via #deltachat.

Interesting detail: It tries to load `http://localhost:7002/_framework/blazor.boot.json` and fails the first time. But if you resend the request it will succeed.

Has anybody tried exporting a #godot game to #html5 and load it into a #webxdc app? My first attempt failed, because the resources can't be loaded. I'm going to try the same with #blazorwasm now. How cool would it be if we could create #godot based #webxdc games with multiplayer support via #deltachat?

When using the selection tool in #gimp, it will only show you the size and aspect ratio of the selected area if you hold down the mouse button. This is extremely annoying because holding down the mouse button means you have to be real careful not to change the selection area by moving. Is there a way to have the size and ratio of the selected area to remain visible even if you don't hold the mouse button down?

A little over 20 years ago, I made my first contribution to an #opensource project: #mono. Those were the days, I had the privilege of having private #irc chats with people like John Carmack and @npub1dq6…s2ns (although neither of them will remember that 😅)and the internet was still free of all the bullshit it's littered with today. Now most of mono has been merged into #dotnet and #mono has been handed over to #winehq. That's over 20 years of .NET and still going strong, no plans to switch.

@npub17gp…nrxn my messages to a @nine.testrun.org contact from my outlook.com are getting refused by the destination e-mail server for security or policy reasons. This started happening recently. I can receive messages from that contact but not send messages to that contact.

we don't need app stores to distribute software. Anyone can build the source code and there's a millions ways to distribute apps. And anyone could still add layers of encryption even before your data hits delta. It's an endless cat and mouse game.

#deltachat does not provide any services, it's technically just an e-mail client. It'd be up to Outlook and GMail etc... to implement such scanning features. And as a user you could add on top of that by encrypting whatever images you send before you even paste them in deltachat. (People mentioned base64, but that's only the encoding, anyone can decode the data, but if that data is encrypted then those politicians still got nothing)

This is insane. But more often than not laws are made by people who don't understand how shit really works
