Of all the British Bird yarns, Siskin is the least popular. Of the original batch of five, I’ve only sold two. Despite being yellow, I think they’re cute birds. Remarkably, ten people voted for me to re-dye it! This kind of background noise can make it hard for me to figure out what customers really want repeating and I often default to using past sales as the least unreliable guide.

When everything is a dumpster fire, at least we have plenty of reason to craft. An act of resistance, a restful pastime, a way to connect. Maybe all of the above, but we need these practices.

Twelve Days of Christmas! Two options for 4ply/sock miniskein gift sets: 10g and 20g. Both create a bright beautiful rainbow and have a mix of speckled and variegated colourways.
As a special for this year only I have trialled a DK option. It’s all-speckled and is presented in rainbow order.
