At one time, I thought I had a handle on the meaning of the word “service.”
“It’s the act of doing things for other people.” Then I heard these terms:
Internal Revenue Service
Postal Service
Internet Service
Civil Service
Public Service
Customer Service
Service Stations
This is not what I thought "service" meant.
So today, I heard two farmers talking, and one of them said he hired a bull to “service” a few of his cows.
Ahh, Now I understand what all those “service” agencies are all about.

@nprofile…chlg Matrix. And though i havent used it in a few years, Wire was pretty decent minus the notification issues on Android. And instead of Session, theres SimpleX, which is like session without the nonsense crypto backing.

Does the pine time have any benefits if you dont enable bluetooth and have it connected to a phone? I know i wouldn't get notifications, but do other things work like heart rate, steps, clock etc, without being connected to the phone? periodic connections would be fine i just don't want to have Bluetooth on all the time.
