One of my lower priority projects is to use "the AI" and visit each industry and each sector, and determine the approximate number of TRAINED professions, the supply chain of skills, required to keep our technological civilization advancing.
For example, the jobs needed by a steel mill - just the employees. But its a supply chain, where young people enter and old people exit, and interruption in this supply chain endangers the business.
This is where people like you get entirely disconnected. Even without including suppliers and customers, the complexity required to keep a single producer in business is quite high already.

Same with 'solving' hunger, poverty, racism, stupidity... Politicians USE these talking points to hide their true intent. What the WHO really wants is very, very different from its published charter, for example.
Humanity is morally bankrupt, always was, and the few who are still ethical and rational cannot make a big difference.
Even if you do not believe in the existence of God, you cannot deny the struggle of Humanity against moral decay. Nobody can 'solve' this.

Evil has an irresistible draw. Books in the Old and the New Testament, if you are a believer, illustrate this perfectly where Lucifer believes himself to be the equal of the Creator. This is how powerful the draw of Evil is, in real life.
Its too easy to dismiss the existence of entities we call God and Evil. People believe themselves a scientist, creating serious works about parallel universes and higher dimensions do not say this out loud, but they must suspect.
Evil can and will influence individuals and Humanity, and to Evil any of that is trivial.

The only thing you must remember at all times is that we cannot fix stupid. The wast majority of humanity are opportunistic, lazy, cowardly lemmings. This is why some of us are convinced Communism is the ultimate destiny of Humanity, as we wast majority will not mind trading slavery for the illusion of security.

The Middle-Eastern Civilization, ruled by Islam, is set to destroy all other. Fucking morons trying to "fix" all this are the individuals who should be converted to plant food because that is their only possible positive contribution to Humanity.
Never in my lifetime the primordial forces, the Law of the Jungle was this pronounced, and I grew up under Soviet Occupation and experienced the end of the Cold War on both sides.
Anybody wanting to "fix systemic" anything should be locked into a mental institution until they can explain their true intention.

A while back a hotshot new manufacturing engineer created a clusterfuck of mangled IDs by using the row sequence of a spreadsheet as a UID.
I asked them if differentiating a SQL database from a spreadsheet was part of any of his training.
Because this is something you can self-train, all the spreadsheet and database skills, everything you can name, is trivial. No need to go to college for that.
Kids should not get a HS "diploma" without mastering basic arithmetic with spreadsheet and SQL scripting.
But with the LUG self-training also started to disappear.

Very few people appreciate the effects of something like the LUG thriving, and disappearing.
The LUGs left a humongous gap in between user space and below, which is traditionally the infrastructure.
I understand that Web3 is slowly diminishing these layers, but still - something like the LUG could help evolving it instead of retarding the user more and more, and separating the "elites" from the users of their creations.
Mobile killed the LUG, and made the whole industry so much more retard.
