@nprofile…valu This reminds me when some friends and I were having a late-night LAN party back when 3d accelerated graphic cards were the hot new thing. When we went outside there was an eerie mist hanging over everything. “Look!” one of my friends said excitedly. “3D fog!”

I’d like to apologise to everyone on the East Coast for that winter storm. What happened was, I waited several weeks after the January storm but the forecasts remained clear. So I PUT AWAY MY SNOW BLOWER.
The February storm showed up almost immediately.
It won’t happen again. I’ll keep my snow thrower out until June.

@nprofile…e330 Yes! And we’ve been gaslighted into believing it’s our fault for “using it wrong”. Our hands must have been too far away, or we slouched forward on the toilet, or whatever.

It’s hard to take the idea of AI seriously when they can’t even get automatic toilets to flush at the right time.

@npub1mc3…nkdg I sort of agree, but let’s also acknowledge that Steam is pushing Linux, their Mac client isn’t great, and they can’t even be bothered to fix all the false warnings in their store that “this game may not run on your Mac” even though they have the data on which games are being played on 64-bit! So let’s not be too shocked at Steam’s numbers.
