no_ai_slop_writing_rules from Louis Rossmann or write better prompts to make a better code.
Just to clarify, I'm not defending slop coding but for me a lot of those human only looks more performative than anything

@nprofile…d73q Not quite, many times I've seen simple bugs in FOSS projects that maintainers gives it very low priority or it gets stale because no ones can fix it and a lot of those don't require a lot skill ceiling to fix it but the person complaining isn't a dev, so asking an AI to fix it could be easier than the person learning the language and fixing themselves

One thing I'm amused by society in general is the lack of awareness and long term memory.
I was seeing a few posts about the Xbox layoffs and I'm seeing everyone blaming it on Asha Sharma, while forgetting that who run Xbox into ground was Phil Spencer and microsoft 30% target.
This is the same thing with Bungie, everyone blames Sony and not Pete Parsons who was also an awful CEO but like Phil, he jumped ship right before it crashed it down

You can use a 5 usd VPS or even for free if you're able to get one of oracle free ARM VM's and install pangolin, netbird or something else to use it as a reverse proxy to your home server
Also if you have public IP, there's tool to update the DNS records for it like ddclient

I was watching in the background today the california votings on louis rossmann channel and it's not only here that politics are a joke.
Many times I saw one of the Senators criticizing the proposal just to say "eye" because the law will make him look good.

I used to follow the nand2mario development on twitter and while I know it's not dead, it feels like it's mainly him doing all the work, so I feel like it could die easily, even more that his 386/486 core is looking to be better than the one of mister(ao486) and there's some effort to make easier to port mister cores to it easier
I hope the project succeeds just because it's IMO, one of the first cheap alternatives to mister that can work

Like the cities diverting the water supply to the datacenter causing supply issues to the city while increasing its costs but that's a different environmental/political problem

I imagine that if that stigma didn't existed, adoption wouldn't had a lot of those problems

Brazil requires a bit, for example the law requires that the animal doesn't feel pain, so they have to be stunned before death.
Besides that almost all cattle here are raised on pastures. While I don't think that's as humane, I don't see that as abuse too

While I consider myself someone who hates animal abuse(I don't eat lobster, crabs and other animals that needs to be alive during cooking), I'm someone who don't see a problem into killing animals like cows, chickens and more for meat if is done in a way that the animal don't suffer, which is what the law here requires slaughterhouses to do.
But at the same time I don't consider myself as a moral person.

It's more a technical book that talks about different pattebs(Singleton, proxies, Composite, factories,...) it won't teach you how to build a software ground up but it will help you to deal with design problems better
