The requirements are that the items should be functional or reasonably repairable, and that you don't need them anymore. The idea is to collect waste and give it a new life, not to take your stuff.

Despite the ever-growing amount of electronic waste, most people still buy their personal electronics new, or buy relatively new items second-hand. Yet, a lot of older stuff – laptops, phones, cables, peripherals and the like – must be lying around doing nothing in basements and attics of houses, companies and organisations. Most of this “waste”, while perhaps slower or less reliable, is still useful, and in the context of reducing electronic waste, we should reuse or repurpose it as much as possible.
I would like to set up a local initiative focused on collecting, repairing and redistributing this apparent “waste”, and therefore am always looking for stuff like:<li>laptops;</li><li>laptop parts, preferably generic;</li><li>hard drives;</li><li>peripherals such as mice;</li><li>cables and adapters for older connectors;</li><li>storage media, such as rewritable CDs and DVDs, floppies or USB flash drives;</li><li>phones that can run a modern OS (for example postmarketOS);</li><li>anything else you can miss and could be useful for someone else.</li>

I added my first doorbell camera on #OpenStreetMap today with @npub1ga5…mwcw, and I would advise others to do the same in their area!
Doorbell cameras are a growing surveillance measure many are still unaware of. On OSM, there's a tag to mark a camera as being a doorbell camera: camera:type=doorbell. They're especially easy to add via MapComplete.

I know, however in BE we have a car culture that doesn't seem to go away, shitty bicycle infrastructure and heavily flawed PT, so it's not the case for all cities in BE. I also think having the LEZ in Bxl helps massively.

According to French Wikipedia, it's 22,906.32 sq. km. The parts I've been to looked quite dense indeed.
It's also very remarkable how in Brussels, the number of cars per person decreases as you go deeper into the centre.

It can take the values <code>no</code> (not allowed), <code>welcome</code> (specifically indicates welcoming LGBTQ+ individuals), <code>primary</code> (mostly designed around us) and <code>only</code> (essentially bans others). See the OSM wiki for details and tagging recommendations!</li><li>The same information can be tagged for specific sexual orientations (gay men, lesbians, the bear community etc.) and genders (e.g. transgender people) using various <code>lgbtq:*=*</code> subkeys.</li><li>Want to explicitly indicate that a place doesn't have a visible indication of welcoming LGBTQ+ people?
