@nprofile…5w5c Agreed. I lived in The Caribbean for many years and most of the small island states relied heavily on imported foods as they allowed their own agricultural sectors fade away. Much of the imports were highly processed foods which resulted in growing health problems e.g. diabetes. Food security needs to be a national focus, not an after thought. Heinz Watties closing down established food processing plants is one contributor to diminished food security.

Fuel prices are going up. Exhaust gases harm our health. Every day (incuding yesterday) someone parks next to and leaves their engine running while they go the shops, eat a pie, or look at their cellphones. Yesterday a diesel ute parked behind us at the beach and the driver left the engine running for over 20 minutes. These people are so selfish and uncaring. Why don't they just turn off the ignition? I hope petrol and diesel rise to $5 a litre. Maybe these people would be a bit more concerned about needlessly burning fuel and spewing out health damaging emissions. @nprofile…7760 There were quite a few like those growing here on a property in Mangonui in the Far North. We did find out the name but I didn't record it. I'll check with a friend who lives nexr door to where they were and see if she remembers.

The government hasn't ensured data held by private companies such a Manage My Health in association with our health system is being held securely. Hospitals have been hacked. Our personal data is being handled in a she'll be right way. We sure don't want foreign governments, especially the US, to be able to access our data.

@nprofile…7760 We're with Pulse Energy here in the Far North. They are great and not a corporate entity. We have 14 solar panels and a 10 kWh inverter/ battery unit. In mid March we will have had it for 5 years. During that time we have supplied all our power needs and built up a large credit for the excess that we feed into the grid. We have never had a power bill in 5 years and we will have paid off the full capital cost by the end of year 7 It's the best return on investment we have had for any of our investments.

Don't travel to the US. There are so many nicer places in the world. Boycott the World Cuo. Boycott US based fast foid chains The US hurts us and our allies. Time to hurt them back.

My data was stolen when Manage My Health was hacked. I have had one email advising that and have heard nothing since. It's really troubling knowing that data may be in the hands of a party who may use it for malicious purposes. MMH has been appalling in its communications and letting us know what they are doing to protect our data and protect us from any such malicious use. The CEO should be forced to resign. Clearly he isn't up to the job. #managemyhealth #aotearoa #hacking
