The US Virgin Islands have their own territorial court system, and any crimes committed there may be territorial crimes, not federal crimes.
The prosecution of such crimes would not need US DOJ nor White House permission to proceed.

Part of the problem of selling a show or movie to CBS or Paramount or Skydance, or booking an acting role on a project of theirs is purely business.
If potus decides he doesn’t like a project, CEOs George Cheeks, Brian Robbins & David Ellison will kill the project regardless of how well it does. They did just now to Colbert & The Late Show (number 1 in its time slot).
Why start business w/them that hurts others & will hurt you the moment they feel like it.

Working on my new home (https://davidaugust.ghost.io/ on day 2 of my 124 day trial) for my articles and #blogging, I am realizing that unlike in the past, it might not make sense to use feedburner anymore.
My new home will allow me to have the whole thing served from a domain I own and control, including feed.
Making a #proxy for the #feed, to preserve #subscribers if I were to change #tech or companies, seems a little superfluous. Am I missing compelling reasons to use #feedburner in 2025?

And I own davidaugust.net
But maybe that gets confusing, so not great.
Maybe a subdomain?
I think ghost.davidaugust.com would be highlighting the tech running it too much.
Would a subdomain of blog.davidaugust.com seem too informal (plus I used that ages ago for other things)?
would words.davidaugust.com be too pretentious?
I welcome any ideas.

I know I'm late to the party on this, but when people say "headless CMS" do they kinda mean the database part of the "database publishing" of 20 years ago?
Like it is storing content separately from the HTML/CSS or app interface so one doesn't have to munge that stuff when making content, or munge content when making a site or app or something, right?
Or is there some new magic in "headless CMS" I'm missing?

For my domains with no active site on them (at the moment), meant to forward to main site (using registrar later for active sites).
I seek a domain registrar able to:
1) do domain privacy
2) do redirects (301 & 302)
3) be less expensive than godaddy for registration & privacy
4) reliable

In 2020, there were some people who marveled at how China built hospitals quickly to handle the start of the pandemic.
Now, some people are marveling over how the US has quickly built a camp in the Everglades to concentrate people.
There are many issues with how China runs itself as a country, and denies human rights to people.
