We are working on our new family members house: our Indian ducks!
We brought 5 but unfortunately we had a fox visit and left us with only two. Still not sure about their gender, but they are the cutest.
Now we are building a safe space for them, hopefully this + our border collie sleeping next to them is enough.

Amazing! I would love to have a pomegranate! I use it for dying. I do have a garden but i am the one in charge of the greenhouse, as i have a baby and its closer to home. I love to take care every day of the seeds and small plants. Right now working with aromatics, medicinal and flowers 🌿

Our first year we did the same. We bought some good pieces (we couldn't find organic) and made some cuts. We put them in a jar with water. It took about 3–4 weeks for them to sprout, and many came up. It worked well for us, but it was better when we bought young plants.

This idea of destruction in the garden is very therapeutic for those who work the land. It teaches us that destruction is part of life's process. Things must break down both symbolically and literally to allow new growth.
Understanding this cycle of life and death helps us see life in a healthier, more balanced way. When we face trauma or difficult times, this metaphor from nature can help us view our challenges more gently.

Today we went to an amazing vermouth tasting at a very old house belonging to a family that has been producing for over 100 years.
The POW was evident everywhere, from the elements to the results (which were delicious!).
But what impressed me the most was that even though they are a growing boutique company, they experiment a lot.
I came home inspired and eager to set up a professional herb dryer!

Did you know that a high fever can cause seizures? I didn't know that, and a few days ago my baby had a fever over 39.5°C, and it happened: a few minutes of convulsing while we rushed to the hospital, going through the most terrifying minutes of our lives.
The gratitude that it was just an anecdote, although traumatic, flooded me from the moment he came back to himself. Life and harmony are so fleeting.
Besides the scare, we took away the experience of feeling firsthand that what really matters is very little.
