Oh, I do that all the time. I kinda roll with the assumption that people know I'm talking about myself. I think it's also a habit I picked up from early chat rooms. That little slash + action:

#ScribesAndMakers 05/12—If you listen to audiobooks, do you have a favorite narrator?
Can't say I really have a favorite; would be easier if I read more series or if certain narrators mostly worked in the same genre.
I thought Steven Weber was great on King's It, as was Kathy Bates for one of his short stories.
And then there's Tim Curry, who was great in Dracula (and most things, really), and put Sabriel on my radar. It seems he narrated one of my favorite childhood series, too.

I try to. Social media can be great for that, newsletters and blogs even better. Most of the time it's nothing I incorporate for my own work, but it's nice to see what everyone else is up to, along with cool trends in genre

I'm right handed, but my gf is left handed. They also spent their early school days in a Catholic school that tried to make them right handed (not successful).

Many furries tend to be queer, as well. I'm sure that's a big part of it, along with disdain for anything that isn't strictly gender coded and cishet.

We originally bought the gate to keep her and Lily separated, while they got used to each other. But Raynie turned out to be quite the jumper.
And now it's back to keep Lily from hiding from her meds.

Life must suck for book characters, who are sometimes left hanging when a reader closes the book for good.
Maybe I should be kinder to my own characters.

I recommend one of my faves by The Violet Hour—The Gloom. It's delightfully eerie.
The Silt Verses is great too, if you don't mind body horror and warring cults.
