Tbh, no offense but you seem to enjoy images of dishes of common food and good morning / good night posts. Well, I don't think these should be part of any crypto platform and indeed I have to mute everyone that posts this kind of garbage, but the problem is when 99% of users of a platform post this garbage daily because it's simply the lowest kind of effort to spam and earn a few cents. This is not only discouraging to absolutely anyone, as I said even to the spammers who just exchange likes without even reading, or with a fake comment that means nothing.

I guess by discouraging spam, at least in a way that it won't be massive. All websites had to deal with low effort spam posts and some did it by limiting visibility of these users and pushing interesting content more.
Of course what is interesting is subjective but I guess low effort is easy to spot. Someone posting a picture of his dinner table or his/her plants. Who really cares?
Perhaps also the website can rank users into tiers and push the higher tiers more.
People will use a website for it's perceived value. That could be entertainment value, reliable information, niches etc. For example, read(.)cash used to have this niche where the BCH community, devs, companies etc, where posting. It was highly reliable information that generated value. It wasn't just the BCH community reading and taking part in these discussions. Basically, I don't want to discourage anyone but even those that exchange likes don't read each other's slop.

In the past platforms paying users with crypto failed mostly because spam content prevailed. Random low effort posts about cooking, posts with zero interest to absolutely anyone, like good morning and good night, and efforts to manipulate these platforms with bots. Now with AI it's probably even worse. I'm not sure how Hive still survived but it still hasn't done anything at all to escape this trend. For the most part it's nonsense posts with zero interesting or valuable information. So, watching spam food images and recipes in my feed here at BCHNostr is not really making me feel enthusiastic.

On September 11, Grayscale filed an amendment to it's BCH ETF initial submission.
Bitcoin Cash could find itself with an exclusive ETF opening the way for institutional money to invest.
Amendment No. 1 to FORM S-3 REGISTRATION STATEMENT link:
https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1732409/000119312526389253/bch_s-3_amendment_1.htm
Unfortunately Grayscale on it's website uploaded a Litecoin registration to the Bitcoin Cash Trust page, but most likely the trust investors have already been informed about the news.

Avast has flagged TapSwap(.)cash as phishing. Most likely a false positive but if anyone wants, let pat (the admin) now about it.

I like BCHNostr but didn't have the time so far to look into it more. This will change.
There's so many things to do here. It's a cozy place with so much information.
I also like read.cash a lot because of the many years I've been using it, and I don't really see competition between the platforms.
So, I have one invite for read.cash left. Someone asked me some time ago, but I can't find that message anymore.
So, if anyone wants, let me know.

I'm planning a new video but it may take some time.
Meanwhile you can watch Hijacking Bitcoin!
Almost 24k views, and 686 likes so far!
Surprisingly, dislikes were really low. Just 30, while I was expecting a cascade of dislikes by the BTC mob.
Made me believe that even the BTC people found Roger's book interesting.

It has fundamentals indeed. What it should be sold is as Peer-to-Peer electronic cash and rub that on maxis, since BCH has a legit claim to Bitcoin's name. But, there's people in BCH that perceive as enemies people that grow fast, campaign against them and in the end getting paid for it.

Yes, I guess this is the plan. 2028-2029 bull run. I'm getting ready, although, please this is not financial advice, and holding crypto comes with vast pain as prices drop.

The video was posted in February 2024 and predicted the price action of Bitcoin (BTC) for the next 2 years, but it was not about Bitcoin Cash (BCH).

2026-07-20 13:04:46 UTC

I made this video in February 2024. The price of BTC was like $40,000 at the time.
Nailed the entire price action at this timestamp.
https://youtu.be/uctVNb4LfE4?t=43
Today, I see Bitcoin surviving for a few years more but no more than 4. Most likely $150,000 at some point in 2028 after the 5th halving, and then the next bear market will be devastating.

Bitcoin Cash lost lot's of places lately, but it didn't outperform in the last crypto bull cycle either.
It didn't surpass $700 while in 2022 it touched $1700.
Why? Probably because in 2022 several thousands of people from around the world discovered it via readcash and noise.
The tips at these two platforms helped Bitcoin Cash surpass the BTC transactions for the first time ever.
And the market reacted positively to this.
Since 2022, there was no actual effort to bring people to Bitcoin Cash.
I don't know if BCHNostr can assist in that way but it would mean a lot to have dedicated people following.
Someone in 2022 said that BCH looked like the coin handing out money and kept explaining how he was against that idea.
Well, the results are in. $1700 high price when tips were flowing, while something like $600 otherwise.
Willing to listen to any counterargument, as to how having low or no users can assist with pushing the idea of P2P cash.

Hi Glen! I see many people joined. Hopefully this place can establish itself. Platforms like this one can gain traction and generate lots of interest. It seems promising and it can help BCH a lot, so I joined too. You know, the price of BCH went far better in 2022 than the previous bull run, and a lot of it was due to the attention it was getting by thousands upon thousands of participants in read and noise.cash. Hopefully BCHNostr can generate similar interest.
