you’re not wrong, but consumer demand is still a major driver for revenue and if you can show that there’s a real impact to revenue you can change a company’s behavior
Microsoft is actually a good example of this. They had a monopoly on developer tooling that they lost because of apathy toward their users. Eventually they realized their strategies weren’t working, whittling away at their market share and they changed their approach.

what social media presence do they actually have though? I imagine they’re not on fedi, meta seems like it wouldn’t actually reach them, do they have a bsky presence?
Also what support forums exist because I will gladly start complaining there too

I’m trying to cancel my Trupanion service, because at this point I’m 0 for 3 on insurance claims and I’m spending too much for them not to help me.
Their service doesn’t have a way to cancel online, which is always a bad experience.
So I call, 45 minutes of holding and it turns out, they don’t have anyone who can cancel my policy in this state, so in have to wait for a call back 24 to 48 hours from now. I’m beyond frustrated.

I have a trans (nb) friend who lost their role just as they started transitioning, it seems this may have been politically motivated and if anyone has roles ( either in San Francisco or remote ) for DevOps or Engineering I could forward to them that’d be appreciated
