Just before I turned 10, we moved away. I went to visit him once and he came to visit me once, in the year that followed, but them we moved even further away and that was that.
Later I found out that he had become a democrat politician, so I decided that the nuns were much worse and was really glad that hadn't happend to me.

Life Thread
We moved alot when I was growing up, so friends were transient things. For 3 years we lived in one house. My best friend lived across the street. Outside of school, you would likely find us together, getting into trouble. We went to different schools. From what we could tell, the most significant difference was that his school had nuns that whacked your knuckles with a ruler, at least once per week. My school had a principle that beat your ass with a paddle about once per month.1/?

There is humor in everything. My son is Autistic. When he was little his prognosis was really crappy. His mother and I worked with him and worked with him and he has succeded beyond what anybody thought possible. We would never have survived that without finding humor in it. It is refined enough to only need about 2 weeks of additional refining to be ready to make bombs. Iran has also made great strides in missile development.
Based on other intelligence, they were meeting on 2/28 to further advance their nuclear weapons plans.

whether or not there was foreign involvement investigation that was squashed, doesn't change who pulled the trigger, so what bearing would it have on robbinson's guilt/innocence? Courts are very particular about what they allow and what they don't.

The median household income in the US is nearly double what it is in the Netherlands.
The median house price is higher than in the us and in the Netherlands it's typically a much smaller house with a much smaller lot.
Cars and other stuff cost much more in the netherlands as well, allowing for a much higher disposable income in the US.

I am, however, a bit surprised that Gold is dropping, as it usually increased in times of uncertainty.

Our Christmas tree was 12 feet tall. When we got it my son was here to help carry it. I had to take it out by myself. It was too heavy, so I vacuumed out the remaining water and layed it down then cut it in half. Tossed half to the goats and half to the sheep. They're still munching on it. It took about 20 minutes to get it out but lugging a 7ft wide tree thru a 5 foot wide hall and 3 foot wide door and sawing it in the house made a huge mess. Cleaning that up took 2 hours. My wife made pasta with crab and roasted red peppers in a cream sauce that has a bit of lemon in it. She is very generous with the crab. It's like half crab and half pasta. I love when she makes this, except I can only eat a small portion cuz it's very calorie dense. So I'll have a hot fudge sundae later.

Our internet at work, has many custom settings, mostly for security and some custom connections. It takes about 2 hours to set them all up. In spite of the fact that nobody is supposed to even go in the communications room, some boob here decided that the wi-fi signal seemed weaker than usual and that re-setting the router would fix the problem (it wouldn't) Of course this crashed our internet, which then took me 2 tedius hours to fix. It's the first time I have raised my voice at work in years.

@nprofile…7j28 Well, I've noticed that it runs slow at times and I don't get nearly as many as I sued to, but this is largely because the people I follow, aren't posting as much, I think.

For what it's worth, we were at a campsite once, in our motorhome and it rained like crazy. When we woke up in the morning, we were suddenly on a small island with tents and camping gear floating all around us.
