If you upload video into Spotify, it replaces your audio media with audio from the video (breaking your stats and dynamic content-insertion). So at that point, you're soup-to-nut on Spotify for Spotify.

Complain to Spotify that they don't support video podcasts and ask them to support video podcasts for real, not just proprietary video shows.

The point of <itunes:title> is so you can have a clean title without episode or season numbers, since there are separate tags for those.
And this allows you to still use episode and season numbers in the normal <title> for compatibility and user experience in all the apps that don't properly support <itunes:title> and <itunes:episode>.
If <title> and <itunes:title> were meant to hold the same thing, Apple would not have made <itunes:title>.

Just imagine when Super Chapters can have locations, too! You could have a podcast player that plays chapters automatically when you enter a geofence, like a smart audio tour!

Hetzner servers _are_ nice, aren't they? Even with the price increase, they're still much more affordable for me compared to Vultr.
However, I still make some things run on Vultr because their high-frequency CPUs are faster for my current processing.

Yeah, I knew you weren't talking about Apple. I know Spotify is a lot more discriminatory than Apple (YouTube is, too, but they're not a podcast platform).
Nonetheless, if James wants to analyze a typical list of weekly podcast removals/deactivations from Apple Podcasts, I'm happy to provide that long list.
